There was absolutely nothing I did not like about the property.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They had a lovely pool and an impressive art gallery. The food was made for kings. Definitely suggest the breakfast included option.

Amazing price for value. Absolutely exceptional in terms of that. Due to low price, not everything is top notch, but spacious rooms and amazing nature makes up for the short comings. Pool was amazing with an amazing view and spa was great as well. I would recommend everyone without blinking.

Limited choice of food. They have two restaurants and they charge dollar rates in one and IDR in another. They do not allow you to order food from one restaurant to be served In conjunction with your other food ordered from the other restaurant. Since there are limited food available for groups, it is better to plan to eat outside. Breakfast is very basic as well so you get bored on the third and fourth day of our stay.

The place is secluded and quiet which is a nice place to relax. We got several rooms which are big size. The rooms can actually accommodate four people but booking.com does not show the option to add more pax even if the room has two queen size beds. The resort has a very nice museum which showcase an impressive collection of artifacts, jewels, and arts from Indonesia and around the world. Overall I like the place.

Photos were a bit deceiving. Not a lot of privacy, basically you live outside. Creaky doors and floor panels make it feel very awkward when using at night as it wakes everyone up.

The view in the morning was exceptional. The staff were delightful. Food was delicious. The stay overall was very interesting to feel a traditional Balinese home stay. The art and culture exhibitions added a lot of authenticity.

The pool didn't get turned on to filter late some mornings, had to leave our key at reception everytime we left, restaurant could do with some Reno's but nice view

Tanah merah art resort is in the most beautiful please, we stayed in the mads Lange one bedroom private pool villa. Views were incredible. Pool was amazing, infinity. Walk down to the waterfall was beautiful, sounds of the waterfall and river was so lovely. Not to many mosquitoes. Nice to relax and take in the jungle, quite often see monkeys hanging out in the trees

There was a bar / restaurant there but being there with the kids it would have been nice if the less formal or pool bar was open in the afternoons / evenings for snacks and the occasional drink

Fantastic breakfast, beautiful location, amazing architecture and a lot of thought had gone into the spacious rooms. A wide and varied selection of great local art across the resort and in the bedrooms and corridors gave this place a real Balian feel. This hotel is just a short / cheap taxi ride from Central Ubud but far enough out to avoid the crowds

The whole resort is a bit outdated but we got used to it pretty quickly because everything else made up for it.

We loved the location. Amazing views, “private” waterfall in the rainforest, monkeys all around. It was peaceful and all staff were very helpful and sweet.

Not as modern as some of the newer Ubud accomodation, but I really liked the rustic old-school Balinese charm of the place.

The fact that it was not possible (in my opinion as an older citizen) to go for walks around the area as there are no footpaths so unless I hired transport I could not leave the complex. I also would have liked to go down to the actual waterfall to meditate by the water but the steps down are in my opinion not safe. No handrails. I was going to walk down but realised that if I went down on my own I may have a fall and no one would realise. It may be a nice idea for a member of staff to take groups down at allocated times for safety reason. Also disappointing that there was no one available to lead yoga sessions

I loved the views, the serene atmosphere, the sound of the waterfall when sitting on the deck by the small pool, a wonderful massage by Tina, the authentic architecture, the walks around the complex
