From the moment I arrived at Tapa Agung View I was captivated by its breathtaking surroundings. Perched in a Besakih valley, the hotel offers sweeping views of jungle, rice feilds and Mt Agung that seem almost too perfect to be real. Whether I was watching the sunrise from my balcony, listening to sounds of the jungle relaxing by the pool or enjoying a cocktail as the sunset aluminated the magnificent volcano, every moment felt like a postcard come to life. Beyond the scenery, what truly set this hotel apart was its exceptional staff. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they anticipated my every need without being intrusive. From the front desk team who greeted me by name to the restaurant staff who's every interaction was filled with kindness and happiness. The was the food was an absolute delight. Every meal was a celebration of fresh, local ingredients, beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. Breakfast was a highlight, I went with the Balinese Experience, yum!  Dinner was an equally memorable experience, whether I had room service on my balcony with the silluete of Mt Agung or indulging in the chef’s special under the stars. Tapa Agung View more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience of comfort and genuine hospitality. The quality of furniture in the room and bathroom looks like out of place due to high standards of the hotel. It just looks like can easily break.

Amazing service and hotel facilities. We also had SPA massage which was great option provided for a good price. Restaurant was exceptional too as had various options for different dietary needs and all food was delicious.

Views are absolutely amazing....watching the sunrise next to Mt Agung is a truly beautiful moment. Lovely pool, and everything is immaculate. Really good attention to detail, such as staff remembering your name, a lovely fruit basket in the room, turndown service, and even a surprise gift at check out! Superb restaurant, recommend trying breakfast from the "experience" menu. Special thanks to Sang Ayu in the restaurant and Dwik at reception for their beautiful customer service. I genuinely can't believe the value for the relative cost of this hotel, very highly recommended.

We loved everything about this hotel. The room was very clean, the food was excellent, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The manager, Pak Sues, was incredibly kind and always made sure we were well taken care of. The location was great—just a short walking distance to the night market, a 5-minute ride to Tukad Arca, a beautiful public bath, and only a 10-15 minute ride to Besakih Temple.

I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and resorts all around the world over the last decades and this is the best I have ever stayed in. Seriously. The immaculate facilities, the attention to detail, the care and friendliness of the staff, the restaurant and food (the wonderful service of Citra).....plus of course the pool and the view! The view from Tapa Agung is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life. The pictures of my friends and I from the pool with a view will be our best for the rest of our lives. it wasn't quite soundproof in the rooms as there's a bit of open window in bathroom that can't be closed, i assume for ventilation. however the noise from bathroom goes through whole corridor so are any loud noises.

the territory is very neat and pleasant for eye, well taken care of. nice rooms, we stayed in Deluxe with big lovely balcony on first floor, big comfy beds, everything you need. staff is really thoughtful and conscious, quick and responsive. the restaurant is not bad and they provide discounts for guests. we celebrated our birthday and staff has prepared little gifts for us even though we booked only one day ahead.

Well appointed hotel with a view to Mt Agung.. we booked a deluxe room which had an outlook to the east which was great for sunrise and Mt Agung just to the North East.. we were lucky enough to score a corner room which overlooked the pool and restaurant area as well as sunrise

The view was amazing, and the staff as well. I was unfortunately sick before I arrived and stayed there to get better, the staff was super nice and even brought be some free hot ginger tea to get better. We also really liked the room. It's very clean and close to the Besakih temple. The village nearby is also nice to see with the small local market. Atmosphere was very calm and peaceful and it was very nice to have the possibility to have breakfast onsite :)
