Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Czech RepublicThe apartment is very clean, in a little house in the beautiful garden. Every day you can choose a breakfast for the next day from the menu. The breakfast was good! Also location is perfect, close to the main street and center however very quiet place. But the most beautiful and very kind is the family in this accommodation that makes you feel like at home!!! Ah.. and Janu (a little son of Made) is a real cutie and a sweetheart!!! :)

IrelandJust be careful of leaving food outside, as with a lot of beautiful places full of plants, you can attract ants quickly but it was not a problem.
The hosts are a lovely family that have been living there for a long time. They were very helpful and accommodating. The plants are amazing on the property too. The location is great, within walking distance to a lot of good places. Basic accommodation but perfect for a short stay in Ubud!

United KingdomWiFi kept breaking up on my work calls but the WiFi works ok it’s just not perfect. So If you’re ok with standard WiFi then it’s no issue, just book it’s an amazing place and family!
Amazing home stay! Really nice guy called Maddy helped me with my stay, very friendly, kind and helpful. The room is within a garden of the home and the gardens are beautifully presented and it was peaceful. It was such a nice feeling sat on the balcony with a coffee and beautiful breakfast looking out to the garden and the traditional Balinese buildings. The room was ok size but very clean and modern and shower room. I left early only because of the WIFI wasn’t 10/10 but it was still good and worked ok I just needed perfect signal for work video calls but this has no reflection on the place i wish I could of stayed longer it’s a real gem in Ubud! Overall the place is recommended and you should book!!

CanadaI stayed in 7 different hotels in Bali but this one was my absolute favourite. This is a true Balinese house. The rooms were clean and spacious. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. My parents loved it here . The owners are also good and the breakfast was delicious . Will 100% recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back here.

GermanyTara House is a little dream place - I felt so fortunate to have been able to spend some days in this peaceful place. Next to the very good value for money including breakfast (some options to choose from), drinking water (hot&cold) and the gem of a street the house is based on (quiet, lots of food options and nice for a little evening stroll while also easy walking distance to the center), the most important part is the lovely family that welcomes you into their wonderful home. Whether you end up having a nice conversation or you just give a friendly greeting and retreat into your cozy and clean room with a little front porch, you will very likely get to feel the calmness and serenity of this special place - other guests I met shared this feeling. Tara House is a little haven of peace in a perfect location in the Heart of Ubud and I highly recommend taking the chance to stay in this beautiful and authentic traditional Balinese family home for some time. Tara House is in the city centre, which was very convenient for me as I don't drive a scooter. My host was lovely and smiling. The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. There is no air-conditioning but the ceiling fan was sufficient. Everything was very clean. The plants in the garden of the house are magnificent and this creates a serene atmosphere for having breakfast on the terrace.
