We arrived for a brief stay at the end of our holiday in Bali, wish we could have stayed longer. Maria is a lovely host and she is also the architect of this wonderful hotel which is designed to evoke a sense of serene tranquility, where warmth and natural elements come together in perfect harmony. The interiors are bathed in soft, earthy tones, with warm hues of amber, terracotta, and honey that create a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. Rich, polished wood surfaces bring an organic, rustic feel, complemented by the grounding presence of stone, whether it's in the form of smooth, natural stone walls or slate-tiled floors. These materials together invite relaxation and a deep sense of connection with nature. The design prioritizes comfort and stillness, with spacious rooms that allow for both restful moments and gentle reflection. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful one night stay in what felt like a little haven. The grounds and apartment were peaceful and clean. The staff were also very warm and welcoming. I’d highly recommend a stay here and would certainly return on another trip if I am in the area.

The Balangan Hotel is a small, stylish hotel, well designed and decorated. The rooms was beautiful and spacious!! Love the amenities as well. The hotel is brandnew and all expectations have been met. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The rooms are brand new and very nicely decorated. Breakfast and food was very delicious, also all drinks , including coffee. The place is small but I did not miss anything. WiFi was very stable and fast. There was no indication to it, but I want to highlight that this is a very sustainable and ecofriendly ressort. This is something which I found very pleasant. There was a welcoming massage and I had another one, both very good, Highly recommended. I arrived late in the afternoon with heavy rains, I found the owner at the reception and she upgraded me to the highest standard room, this was a very nice welcoming and I appreciated this a lot. The whole stay was just perfect. And on top I had the opportunity to practice my Portuguese with the owner.

Mayby the location was not ideal, as the west coast beaches were polluted with trash. But that is not their fault. Also there wasn’t much around. So needed to take a taxi each time to Uluwatu and other. Also Some people in the hotel were also making a lot of noices at night and there was a lot of noice of construction around.

Beautiful place to stay. A small hotel, with very stylish bright interior and design, with Bali vibes. The staff was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. As vegan, they offered us to accommodate their menu 🫶🌱👌

There was construction directly next to the hotel. It didn't bother us too much, but worth noticing. Also all other activities on uluwatu, except Balangan beach, are quite far from the hotel. Nevertheless I would stay here again.

Great hotel near Balangan Beach. Breakfast was amazing. Beautifull inner garden of the hotel where you can relax at the pool. The hotel consists of multiple separate 2 story units. Each story has its own bedroom and bathroom. This gives a great atmosphere as it's not just 1 big building.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering top-notch service throughout my stay. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the lovely terrace, a perfect way to start the day. I’ve already extended my stay three times because it’s just that good! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service. Will definitely return!

Everything was nice. The staff was very welcoming, the room was always clean and the whole hotel was very comfortable. The location allows you to get to the main spots in Uluwatu with a bike easily, which you can also rent there. We met Maria (the Co-owner) and she was very helpful with us!! Can only recommend as my stay was very pleasant, will definitely come back!

The only suggestion would be to include toothpaste, as not everyone brings it with them.

we returned here for another night as the first stay was so good. the superior double room was our preference, although the double room did have a bath which was great. the staff service is great, and the owner is providing clear strong leadership which is developing the team well. make sure you book in a massage the therapist here was extremely good & has a great personality- thank you! food was consistent and delicious.

thank you! the welcoming at check in was perfect, very well organised, clear communication and clean, well presented facilities. This is a must visit if you are in the Kuta/uluwatu area. Food was exceptional & good varied menu. Gale the waiter provided great service, as did the 2 people on the team on the night we arrived. Security was friendly & professional. Very close to Balangan beach, walking distance & this has great waves. This is an oasis away from the busy area, highly recommended. this is not a paid or sponsored review.

the pool, garden + bungalow setting is just beautiful, the hotel is quite new, very well looked after, rooms are very tidy/clean, daily room cleaning if you need it, all the staff super friendly and helpful, very relaxing resort if you just feel like spending a day by the goregeous looking pool, i kept extending my stay xD - best beaches close by are balangan, binging (nice for swimming), dreamland (great waves, colour of water); get a scooter so you can be flexible with your time, DFC gym close by and really well equiped, also you can go running and explore the area, away from the more hectic areas, really loved it here. side note: I was there when Justine (see comment below) lived right next to me. the noise wasn't bad at all and it was a thunderstorm the same night which was so much louder all night... annoying traveller in a country they are guests in. giving 1 star just shows the negativity of people alike LOL

I loooove the place. I am quite picky with hotels because I like everything extremely clean and I have to say The Balangan Hotel was amazing. The design of the rooms is beautiful. I strongly recommend the breakfast, I was there for a few days and I tried different ones, all of them were fantastic. But the best was the staff: cleaners, waiters, the person responsible for the spa and Victor, Arsen and Julian. Thank you so much for making my stay perfect

The only downside is that the room doesn’t have blackout curtains, so it gets bright once the sun rises.

The property is clean, stylish, and feels brand new. The staff, especially Victor, is incredibly friendly and accommodating
