The owner and other staff member were so welcoming and polite. They shared local knowledge and were super friendly throughout my stay. This made the place feel like a home from home. The music they play is super relaxing too, just a really nice atmosphere. If I visit Gili T again I'll definitely stay here.

The location was so-so, quite a lot of noises from nearby roosters, goats and the mosque.

The best banana pancake of the island! The hostel is in a quiet place (except for the 5am prayer of the mosque) and the personal is extremely friendly and accomodating. At this price is the best you can find on this island.

I think it is reasonable considering the price, but the water in the shower is not very warm. Also, it is quite close to a mosque so you will likely be woken at 5am, but we fell asleep soon after so it is really not an issue.

I love the colours and interior and energy here, and that the host plays soft jazz in the morning. The room is comfortable and has good air con. The hosts are very welcoming and warm. Tasty pancakes and coffee provided in the morning too! And a cute kitty roaming around :) Also very close to the harbour, so you can walk here once you get off the boat (and spare those tortured horses a trip - please do all your travelling by foot or bike; the island is not that big!!)

It would have been nice to have something more comfortable to sit and chill, like deck chairs, hammocks or poufs.

No temperature adjustment at the shower and no curtain around it, so the water just goes everywhere. This is a mild inconvenience and nothing too important. The mosque is in close proximity but the owner is upfront about that from the beginning, so no surprises there. Also, the island is so small, so you will hear the mosque pretty much from every location.

Great location close to the harbor but in a quiet and tree-shaded little street away from the central road noise. The staff were honest and kind and helped out with everything needed. The private room was spacious and the bed large and comfortable. AC worked well.

Owner/manager was very welcoming and his calm demeanour plays no small part in the overall sense of peacefulness the hostel's atmosphere has. Very nice guy. Bit of a Bib Marley vibe maybe? Without the rasta. Great conversationalist. Fluent in English. As much potable water, hot tea and coffee as you can drink provided self-serve. A nice hot banana pancake served free in the morning with syrup to top it with. Very appropriate if you're planning to go scuba diving, snorkeling or to catch a ferry out. Loved how this place had me wanting to stay longer.

Candra the host made you feel welcome from the very start. I am traveling with heavy backpacks and he came to the pier to help me to carry everything to the hostel, since there are only bicycles and horse chariots allowed on the island so no grab. This place has great sea vibes, the dorm has only three beds making it very easy to socialize. Candra will tell you everything you need to know about Gili T, and other places in Indonesia since he has traveled around for long, and will tell you what tour is more convenient according to you budget and your persona. Will come back to this lovely island and awesome stay.

- we faced x2 early morning power cuts which meant we were unable to shower before heading out for the day due to the water pressure hooking up to the electric - no hangers in the wardrobe - a small table and chairs/desk would be preferable in the room as we had to place everything on the floor

What an absolutely incredible stay at the house hostel, hosted by Candra and his friend. We stayed in the double room, the bed was so comfy, the room a massive size and we loved the balcony. The banana pancakes every morning were soooooo tasty. Candra is such a genuine soul with kindness in his heart to make sure everyone has a memorable and comfortable stay. He invited us on a sunset hike up the hill and we spoke about anything and everything in life, which was wholesome. We will always remember our stay in Gili T, not only because it’s a beautiful island but because Candra left such a mark in our travelling memories!

A lovely stay owned by lovely two local Indonesia guys. Very clean and has all that you need. Free water refills, great AC, comfy beds, a chilling space outside, towels provided, free coffee and tea, pancakes for breakfast, great water pressure.

Candra and the other staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The hostel is very chill and small but still social. The room had great AC and the bathroom was clean. I also liked how there were only 3 beds in my room.
