AustraliaThe in house laundry can absolutely be more affordable. The price (although I agreed to it due to time constraints) was really ridiculous and unnecessarily expensive. I had 1 shirt, a few pairs of undies, 2 baby dresses and a tote bag and it was $35 AUD.
I absolutely loved my stay. The rooms were luxurious, comfortable, spacious and the perfect place to work, enjoy and reset. The bed was so comfortable and the attention to detail appreciated. The food was beautiful and the buffet breakfast impressive. The pool was great and the location was beautiful and convenient. The staff were all so lovely and accomodating. The only issue I had was with the wifi dropping out constantly on my computer (this is likely due to a personal computer setting) but they did not stop to help resolve this, so I cannot fault. I’ll be back!

IndonesiaThe Meru is remarkable! The staff are welcoming and gracious and fun to have a chat with. We booked a Corner Suite - which I highly recommend! We had planned to stay three nights but ended up extending to ten nights! A great beach and fabulous food and beverage. And definitely book some spa treatments - we did some at the spa itself as well as in our suite - divine! We will be back soon!

PanamaThe room on the ground floor have a nice balcony but lack privacy, if you spend a lot of time in your room it’s a problem (when the vegetation will grow it will be less of a problem). Soundproofing is really bad, you can hear everything in the corridor and people walking on the upper floors. Gym equipment is cheap and doesn’t match with the level of the hotel. Beach sucks. Overall beautifully designed hotel that looks 5 stars but doesn’t FEEL 5 stars on every aspects but it’s really fairly priced for the beauty of the place.

AustraliaSometimes house keeping would knock and wake you up even if u had do not disturb on which was sometimes annoying, however, they were always very apologetic and would quickly replace water and new towels if requested which was great.
I stayed in the Deluxe Suite with Garden View on the ground floor providing me access to a private garden as well as a well planned outdoor seating area. The TVs had access to a range of streaming services which was great. The inclusive breakfast was great with a range of options however due to a lack of cooling it could be rather hot. Overall, would recommend to any one head to Bali who wants more of a quit vibe, but still wants access to a range of shops and markets.

Everything is amazing, great room, amazing facilities, the staff was fantastic. The room was spacious, great finishes. Bed was comfortable, plenty of space. The outdoor sitting was stylish and comfortable. Loved the self lid lifting toilet and the beautiful bath.

AustraliaInadequate supply of pool sunbeds & umbrella shade poolside. To make it worse guests lay towels on the very few sunbeds to reserve & then disappear for hours & hours. Something that neesd to be discouraged or stopped. Supplying more sunbeds & shade umbrellas would be a solution.
Everything was fabulous except the lack of sunloungers & shade in the poolside area.

AustraliaNight light in room entrance didn’t turn off, fitness classes were only for beginners, building construction which is understandable and day spa experience was not complete as spa not finished. One more restaurant would have been nice as the lobby bar was not inviting. More greenery in lobby and rooftop would have created a more lush vibe and encouraged more time to be spent enjoying the beautiful architecture in this space.

AustraliaI was attacked by mosquitoes both nights so I didn'tsleep well. I don't know how they got in. Mosquito nets would be good. It poured one day. There were no indoor activities I was aware of eg a games room, or an organised activity eg cooking class, flower/ offering arranging, dance class or even a history lesson or live music.
Everything was amazing especially the rooms, staff and food. The room layouts and bathrooms were particularly well thought out.
