Only The pool tiles could do with some TLC otherwise everything else was fine!

Absolutely gorgeous setting on the beach, my room was beautiful yet simple. Surrounded by lovely and well maintained garden/flowers. It Had everything I needed for the night stay. The bed was so comfy I drifted right off the second I jumped in. Staff are very welcoming, warm, full of smiles. Very attentive and extremely helpful from beginning right through to the very end. Amazing hospitality and service!! I cannot wait to come back. They even have the swings where you can snap some gorgeous shots with the ocean in the background. See parts of both the sunrise and sunset. And if you’re lucky, you even get to see some turtles swimming by right out on the ocean in front of you!! No swimming at the beach but accessible by the stairs on the side, much more safer when the tide is out. Can walk down and relax by the rocks and you’ll see many crabs crawling about big and small. When the tide is in, be careful for the Big waves crashing along the sea wall. Lots of seating available in the restaurant/bar area. Tv screen there to watch some rugby or whatever. I enjoyed my dinner there. Beautiful views while indulging in some beautiful traditional meals. You also get a delicious refreshing welcome drink. All staff are just lovely and full of love!! Such a beautiful and peaceful escape if that’s your thing I definitely recommend. NOTE:: they currently do have renovations going on so construction work does tend to be very loud but if you’re out most the day and come back they’ll be done but most likely will carry on for another couple of months. Cannot wait to see the final look and updated space when we return. Look forward to it.

The interior is good, the rooms are really clean and there is a nice view from the hotel to the ocean. Also the location is comfortable, you can get anywhere in Candidasa fast enough.

Everything was perfect.

View was amazing, rooms were very clean, food was nice. Hotel also had some free activities, which was nice. But the best thing about this hotel is their staff. Super helpful and friendly. One of the best staff I've seen in hotels, they made us feel very special and welcomed.

Rock hard bed actually made my back very sore (I’m only 27), couldn’t make it softer. Food n drink prices very high, bbq night was a rip off with massacred meat. Lobby renovations going on at the moment so some loudness during day, not good when a resort like this is designed to be a stay at accom style. Shuttle service highlighted as a feature, it’s actually a paid feature or they organise a taxi. Offers room service but no menu in the room Heads up their tax and service fees 21% on top of everything in restaurant. Laundry service mentioned as a feature, they actually charge per piece of clothing not per kg, our small laundry amount almost 200k vs a local laundry 50k, it all adds up very fast.

Secluded in a quiet corner of Candidasa bay, this waterfront hotel boast the kindest, most welcoming and professional staff you will ever experience in any hotel stay. In addition to complementary chauffeur to Virgin Beach and to spectacular snorkeling in the local bay via a local fishing boat, you may also enjoy free yoga in the garden overlooking the sea and delicious a la carte breakfast options. The mattress is perfect, so you will sleep like a baby, and the relaxing, unpretentious atmosphere by the swimming pool is ideal for reading and resting. The location is perfect for day trips, and I recommend tours 4 and 15 booked at the reception (skip Gate of Heaven, which is a total tourist trap) to learn about Balinese culture and to visit beautiful temples, palaces and traditional villages. Balinese food is delicious, so make sure enjoy all options available at this hotel, but seafood Sate and the Balinese barbecue combo for 2 is as mouthwatering as are all fresh fruit juices. This hotel is also the best value for your money you will find in Bali, but if you do not trust me, do your research, and let me know if I am wrong later. The hotel looks better than in the photos, the landscape garden is elegant and dotted with unique and beautiful plants, and the staff is incredibly attentive, constantly catering to all needs. The room comes with an electronic mosquito repellent and nets, toiletries and comfortable pillows for all demands.

The Nirwana exceeded our expectations from the minute we arrived. The staff were very attentive to our every need. The rooms were well appointed and had a luxurious feel. The view was stunning and ever changing with the boats coming and going. The pool area was beautiful and a place to just sit and relax for the day. $3 for a ride to town if you wanted to leave the resort. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. Being a smaller resort with 18 bungalows the bungalows sit in a beautiful garden or sea view setting giving lots of individual space.

The pool water was green and clearly needed more chlorine. I was concerned that swiming in it may posea health risk.

The staff were really nice and there were unexpected bonuses like a complimentary beach trip and a boat/snorkeling trip. The Driver Katut was very helpful and friendly.

The staff was very friendly and kind. It was wonderful to sleep hearing the sound of the waves breaking on the coast. Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious and pretty, and the high bamboo roof of the room was amazing. The breakfast had many great options and had fresh fruits, fruit juice and great coffee included.

The place is beautiful and quiet. The food there is very tasty and has many choices. Breakfast also has many choices. they also give complimentary tea in the afternoon. It has a nice swimming pool,garden and nice chair to sit around there for chilling. All staff is so kind and helpful. They have choice free activity like snorkling and etc, also some other activity you need to pay. but all is good they arrange for that. We are happy to stay there only one night but next time we will come again for sure.

People smoking by the pool!!

Such a beautiful setting, very peaceful and quiet. The ocean especially at low tide is clean and perfect for swimming in. The bedrooms are luxurious and comfortable. I have already booked to go again!
