The most beautiful hotel in Jacarta! I loved the interior design, a mix of oriental and industrial. The hotel smells jasmine everywhere! The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is excellent! Personal was very helpful and professional. Location is great, in the heart of the city. The pool area is amazing!

The room curtains needs upgrade as they don’t block the light properly, making it hard (for us at least) to sleep longer into the morning.

Everything was great

We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel’s bold and original design immediately caught our attention — it’s full of character, with stunning paintings, graphics, and intricate details everywhere. Some might find the ambiance a bit dark, but we absolutely loved the atmospheric and artistic feel. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and plush pillows that you just sink into — though we personally prefer firmer ones, it was still great! The entire hotel is immaculately clean, and there’s a pleasant, subtle aroma throughout the space. We enjoyed exploring the hotel’s facilities, starting with a visit to the rooftop bar upon arrival. But what truly stood out for us was the well-equipped gym and the spacious library. The breakfast was exceptional. The buffet had a fantastic selection of dishes, from dim sum to sushi, and there was also an à la carte menu with additional options. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff — from the friendly porter who greeted us at the entrance to the reception and restaurant teams, everyone was professional and welcoming. If we find ourselves in Jakarta again, we will definitely stay here again!

We cannot rate the Orient Jakarta highly enough. The fit out of the public spaces was superbly decorated with lots of artworks and quirky fittings. Our room was spacious, well furnished with a comfortable bed and excellent lighting options. The shower and toiletries were top notch. The staff were very helpful, especially Akhmad at Reception. The breakfast buffet was amazing - so much variety and beautifully prepared. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

In the heart of Jakarta, traditional woodwork, funky art and a very chilled ambience, combine to make this a very cool hotel. Friendly staff, superb food and very tasty margaritas are a bonus. This hotel is literally an oasis. Two gardened infinity pools, on the 5th and top floor, provide a spectacular view with a very chilled vibe. This hotel will not disapoint.

The best hotel experience I have had. Excellent breakfast. Great attention to detail with interior both inside the rooms and all over the hotel. Two amazing pools to choose from. Great spa facilities. I wasn't planning to return to Jakarta anytime soon but after staying at The Orient Jakarta i definitely want to travel there again.
