How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

How clean and neat it was The location was a bit far from the center but super quiet But you need a motorbike as there is not loads of taxis or grab

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. They serve pancake for breakfast. But we preferred to prepare our own breakfast which was no problem at all. They even provided us cutleries and let us use the fridge. If you rent a scooter its also a good location to explore the coast around Nusa Penida.

It is quite a distance from most places but if you have a scooter it is ok.
The staff were really helpful and helped us book any activities we wanted. It was also very good value for money.

Location was not that comfortable. You need taxi or scooter to move comfortably

There were 3 of us and yet they kept serving 2 portions of breakfast as if there were only 2 of us the whole duration of our stay.
Located near the ferry harbor up the hill in green zone and it is serene. Very quiet and shaded, so it is always cool. Minutes away from eateries by the shore..

Breakfast is included and it was okey but only one option: classic pancake with coffee. Tasted good but small and simple. Could be nice to have another option or add some fruit to it. I wouldn’t book this place just because breakfast is included. For what we paid it’s absolutely worthy.
Very clean and quite, aircon, hot water, towels provided, stunning pool.

the condensate drain of the air conditioner is not installed properly (water runs in the middle of the bathroom)

Location is very far away if you don’t have a motorcycle already. Bathrooms weren’t perfect clean.
Very friendly staff. The guy at the front desk helped us to get to a restaurant using his motorcycle because we didn’t know the hotel was so far away from other places

Everything is a little outdated, but so are most accommodations. The location is a little more away from everything, you do need some sort of transport to go to places.
The water of the shower was really good! It had good pressure (unlike other locations on the island). The room was super big and so was the bathroom. It was all clean but a little outdated.

They switched off our breaker box at 2:00 for no reason. The staff was nice but some of the drivers would try to get more money than what was agreed upon.
It was an spacious room, we had AC and it looked clean

The hotel owner did not fix the issue about wi-fi quickly. He didn’t come and check the hotel during the storm.
The receptionist, Mari, was very kind and friendly.

location is not great if you do not have a bike/car. not accessible via foot as far from things and goes through dark roads under construction
perfect for what we needed as w head a 2 day tour booked, staff were very helpful and accommodating. Helped us get a ride to the port and also fed us when we were hungry and couldn’t get to anywhere for food

We had a great stay at The Puncak Santhi Inn! The staff was very nice and even brought us to the pier on the morning we left. The rooms and the pool were clean and we were able to rent scooters at the hotel.

There was no staff when we wanted to check in. They also weren’t there at night. They gave me an whatsapp number so I could text them. The rooms were not really clean and the bathroom smelled really bed. Also no housekeeping and no one there to give us fresh towels. No coffee corner like they said. Overall not really happy
The location was quite good you just have to walk trough the jungle for like 1 street
