Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. AustraliaThe noise...it was terrible. You are on a corner of a road. Traffic all day /night, dogs barking all night and the frogs were so loud. I thought the Suites would be a quieter location, but it was terrible. If you want sleep, I would not recommend.
The concept of the Sender Pool Suites is very nice. The staff are lovely and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful.

AustraliaOur bathroom was pretty inconvenient - the shower had no door and usually this is okay but the whole bathroom was wet - and stained from the water as was the bath. the lighting was really dark you could hardly see yourself in the mirror, we had to ask the staff a couple of times for towels, water ect, and it’s pretty loud area at night. I think it was just our room as the other rooms seemed better.
The staff were nice, motor bike rentals available, good location just have to get a bike to the town. Food is great too. Beautiful gardens and pool

United StatesEverything was perfect except the owner who ignores phone calls when you’re stranded outside at 2am and lies to you on the phone about your stay extension. They have a camera in the corner of their office with me trying to fall asleep on the lobby couch because they lacked the courtesy to just tell me which room.

AustraliaUnfortunately it was really noisy of a night time, nearby restaurants music was really loud until 10.30pm and motorcycles were loud most of the night. Guessing this was to be expected due to location. There were a lot of mosquitoes, especially in the room due to the gaps in hut. You have to use the net over the bed which l wasn’t a fan of. The bathroom wasn’t air conditioned so pretty humid immediately after a shower. The air conditioning wasn’t cold enough either, maybe needed a service. We were there for 4 nights and the pool was like a swamp when we arrived. They treated it immediately but we couldn’t swim until the 2nd last day. They did provide a free floating breakfast for the inconvenience. But not really ideal not being able to use the pool on arrival.

IndonesiaOverall it felt like the hotel was designed to to be more appealing than it actually is, and value did not correspond to the price. For instance, bathrooms were hot and full of mosquitoes, plus it did not have a lock. Breakfast was quite Lacking, with the Indonesian option being the only one worth eating. Room had very weak lighting, no closet to put clothes or bags, the AC was not crisp enough to prevent overheating at night. The WORST however was the hotel wanting to charge us 150k IDR to rent a scooter per day while the scooter renter next door only charged 70k for the SAME Scooter. That felt dishonest and unnecessary considering the premium paid for the villa. If you are thinking of renting a scooter avoid renting through the Hotel.
The location is good especially if you rented a scooter. The configuration is two villas for each pool which means if you are renting two villas you get the pool for yourself. The majority of the staff were welcoming and professional.

AustraliaThe pool wasn’t useable very dirty and not correctly checked. We booked as a group and all our villas were in seperate locations. The step to get into the villas are super high which my mum has bad knees struggled. They ended up making steps for her which was good.
The villa looked good the mattress was very comfortable. Villa Well looked after and great location. Lovely workers but communication was hard.

IrelandLighting in room was very poor, the mirror in the bathroom was terrible! A bathroom needs a quality mirror. Towels were often dirty. The bar/restaurant that the hotel also run had live music more or less every night, but it was very loud and unnecessarily loud, earplugs were supplied but not pleasant!
Bed was very comfortable, pool was clean, grounds were very pretty and maintained, location perfect, staff friendly but didn’t have a lot of English and some miscommunications resulted.

AustraliaSteps to villas which looked like yurts. Step were not well lit at night. We had preference for no steps as we both had bad knees. Not advised of this. No Wardrobe - lived out of our suitcases for 4 days. One small hanging rack in bathroom with 2 coat hangers. There was one huge step up into the villas - it was difficult for both of us to negotiate - and the step was right on the edge of the pool. One extra step out of the room and you were in the pool. From the advertising I thought the Suites had a private pool, but the pool is shared between two suites, the suites are very close. Would be OK for a family taking 2 suites. A lot of noise from other guests and staff from restaurant. This went late into the night. The usual barking dog and traffic in the Jalan.
Villas looked lovely on arrival, as did pool. Very clean. Some good restaurants nearby.

No staff(at reception) during check out (they have only stairs to carry the luggage), no one at restaurant/reception during any time of the day or night. If you are looking for a decent stay with basic amenities this is not the place.
Honestly we liked the pictures uploaded on booking.com. That's it.

Indiaconstruction work outside the hotel, hot water was an issue for 3 days consistently Despite reassurances on having it fixed on a daily basis the issue was not resolved. lady at the front desk assured us a complimentary night to compensate for the same but this too was forfeited and we were finally offered a bare minimum discount of 30 dollars which didn’t even cover 25% of the stay cost. lack of comprehension and understanding and no remorse expressed by hotel staff. very disappointing experience overall.

Singapore- Near to the road and noisy traffic noise even at night - Construction and knocking noise due to construction nearby even when it's past 10pm. - Wanted to take afternoon after Mt Batur trek but noisy due to construction - Lots of insects and noise from frogs due to rainy season. Cannot sleep well as light sleeper - Trash was not cleared the following day - Villa pool is shared so not much privacy - Hotel staff cleared the flowers for flower bath the following day just when we wanted to use the following day - Hotel staff forgot to refill drinking water for one of the day - Aroma burner smells nice but hotel staff did not refill the aroma oil after the first day - Bath tub was drainer was defective and hotel staff did temporary fix - Basic TV and not smart TV, no Netflix. Nothing to watch - Pool Chairs were without the cushion while other villas have them - Bought bottled alcohol to drink and requested for bottle opener but hotel don't have bottle opener

SingaporeAll the door locks were pretty old and really need to be changed. The toilet door was also unable to lock and there seems to be a opening gap between the toilet and outside the cottage villa which I didn't feel safe. The safe is also faulty even batteries were changed.
The staff were all very friendly. Especially the staff at the recept counter Gus Black. He helped me alot on transportation and navigating the area when I was a bit lost on where to rent a bike and how to get to the places I wanted to go. My experience was really a good one!
