Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyNo official vegan options, not enough umbrellas by the pool.
Good breakfast in the morning but missing vegan options. They made it work but basically I only had choice of 1 meal every day (oat milk was there but extra fee). Tofu, Tempeh etc would be appreciated to keep you full. Staff very helpful and understanding, we had our flight rescheduled and nights were partially moved. Rooms cleaned every day and very friendly.

United StatesNot a very convenient location for some Ubud sites, however you can definitely catch a scooter to anywhere you’d need to go.
This is a nice property and the service was great from the staff!

SloveniaWe had a very pleasant stay at the villa. The garden with swimming pool is amazing, staff is super friendly, breakfast is very good, room is big and cosy, the price is reasonable. I would definitely recommend staying in Tut Winten and exploring Ubud, which is also stunning.

PolandTut Winten Villa is a cozy and comfortable place—not too big, but with a great atmosphere. The layout with a pool in the center and rooms surrounding it created such a relaxing vibe, both in the morning and evening when the pool was beautifully lit. Everything was incredibly clean, with staff constantly making sure the place was spotless (even removing leaves from the pool!). The service was outstanding—everyone was so kind and always ready to help. When we had an early tour (departure at 7:45 AM, but breakfast started at 8), they prepared a delicious takeaway breakfast for us. The regular breakfast menu offers around seven freshly made dishes, all beautifully presented and tasty. The receptionists were always smiling, and the restaurant staff were incredibly polite and friendly :) Also, just a short walk from the hotel, there's the amazing Bebek Tepi Sawah restaurant, where you can try delicious Indonesian food. The hotel itself offers European dishes like burgers and pasta for lunch and dinner. And one more highlight—you can even order a Balinese massage to your room, which makes the stay even more relaxing! I can truly recommend this place to everyone :)

RussiaAs for the Deluxe rooms with a view of the rice field at sunrise—well, let’s just say the “advantages” are debatable. When the field is green, it’s nice to look at, but they’re constantly working on it, so at some point, you’ll just be staring at a muddy mess. And the field work starts around 7 AM, so get ready to enjoy the sound of tractor every morning. The pool, though, has way too much chlorine. The smell is pretty strong, even when you’re just standing near it.
The hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff does an amazing job—everything’s spotless, and you barely even notice them around.

IndonesiaThe shower in the splashes all over the whole bathroom and closet. Not a good design. No view
Location being quite in the middle, easy reach to outside Ubud and less traffic. The hotel is located inside a side street thus reduce noise from the street. The terrace in front of the room.

BelgiumIt’s very nice boutique hotel, very cosy, located a bit further away from busy Ubud centre - which we actually loved. If you want it’s 45min walk there through rice fields. The view from our room was great - we had a small garden overlooking rice fields, extremely relaxing. On the other side you have a very nice swimming pool - which is ideal when it’s warm:) Staff is extremely kind, helpful - thank you so much for your hospitality! You can also ask for a massage in a room - don’t even hesitate, lady that comes to do a massage does her job great!

AustraliaThe only fault was that the shower and toilet were next to each other so when showering the toilet would get wet.
The staff were really friendly, very attentive and the cafe that was part of it was really nice. The staff on arrival had a tea and cookie for me and told me breakfast was included for me. I also got a massage in the room which was lovely for 200,000k. The pool was very clean and lots of spots for guests.

- Friendly and warm staff. - Clean with comfy bed. - Good location, close to spa and restaurants. - Good simple breakfast. - Good value for money. We initially stayed for a night but because of its comfy, we wanted to extend for another night but unfortunately there was no available room.
