Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaLiving area furniture is a little bit older and with a moisture smell. But maybe it is due to Ubud weather which is always humid. 2 bedroom villa is in front of the property so you will hear traffic sounds especially in the morning. Resort activities are limited.
The staff is really good and helpful. Always greet you with a smile and try to do whatever is possible in their limit. The property was nice and clean. Room sizes are pretty big and spacious.

IndonesiaUpon arriving at the villa for my stay in the Nakula room, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted my experience. First, despite requesting a late check-out due to my late check-in at 8 PM, I was informed that this was not allowed. This felt particularly frustrating, as I was expecting a more accommodating policy considering the circumstances. Once I entered the room, I was surprised to find a frog inside. While it might seem like a minor inconvenience, it was certainly unexpected and added to my discomfort during the stay. The situation did not improve when I decided to take a dip in the pool. It was notably dirty, and when I inquired about it, I was told that the condition was a result of the recent rain. This explanation did little to alleviate my disappointment, as I had hoped for a cleaner facility. In terms of kitchen amenities, I found the equipment lacking. The kitchen was equipped with only a knife, and there were no spoons or drinking glasses available—only tea cups. This made it difficult to prepare or enjoy any meals comfortably. Sofa in the living room super dirty and wet full of water. Breakfast was another letdown. I arrived at 10:40 AM, just before the cutoff time, only to find that most of the food was already gone. One staff member informed me that there was no food left at all. I had to wait, and when food was finally brought out, it was a small portion, inadequate for my group of four. Overall, my stay was marred by these issues, which left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. The lack of attention to detail and guest comfort was apparent throughout my experience.

SeychellesWe arrive at the late at night and the staff was so nice , very welcoming. They gave us a nice welcoming juice made with a type of flower which was really delicious and refreshing. Everyone there was nice, the receptionist, the people working outside the garden , the security they made me and my family feel safe. They had a whatsapp system for messages, and they replied fast to my message. Thank you so much, ubud raya Villa. I definitely recommend it.

SingaporeThe pool was under some trees so there would often be leaves in the water, but the staff clear them every morning. The floor/base of the standing shower is simply a square piece of marble tile surrounded by smooth pebbles so it may be hard to balance on for elderly people. The resort is surrounded by trees and nature so there may be loud sounds and visits by insects sometimes.
The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly which was one of the highlights of our stay. The villa was VERY spacious and they offered good massage services. The vibes of the resort was very authentic and cozy reflecting the Balinese culture (slightly different from that of more modern looking resorts).

New ZealandThe Shower and Bath taps did not work: We think this was because they were diverting water from the taps in the bathroom to the pool fountain and we had to repeatedly ask Daily to fix it in which the pool fountain would then stop working so that we could use the shower. The Food to order was Average: The food we would order outside of the Buffet Breakfast was not that great and not really value for money. It was not that tasty and very small portions. It felt like the Chef was only there to do the breakfast and it was the hotel staff that were cooking the meals outside of breakfast. Sad to say. This also includes the Balinese/Indonesian dishes. Constant work during the day (mowers and weed eaters going) which made it hard to relax by the pool. But we understood that they were only trying to make the property look beautiful. The Stage Area was a nice space that could also be utilized outside of any festivals or events. It was right next to our room and when we went to go and explore, the Stage Area was used as a storage place for furniture and mattresses which it could have been used for a chill area with seating and tables to relax. I don't know... it just seemed like we were not supposed to be there? Yoga was another issue because it was supposed to be free daily yoga, but the Yoga was not actually on site, we had to go 10mins around the corner to access it and it was not everyday.
We had the One Bed Pool Villa - We stayed 6 nights in the Sayati Room It was very private and the private pool was lovely. The bed was nice and big, and firm which I liked. It was like we lived in our own little compound which was great for an escape away. Overall for us it was the Staff... they were Awesome! Kind and engaging, they really spoke highly of the Villa and asked if we could please fill in the review section of our stay. I found that they made the stay for us a great one. I would go back just to see them again and see how they are doing. We also loved the Indonesian Style Buffet Breakfast (because we were usually hungry in the morning) and the Balinese Coffee. The free shuttles to and from Ubud Township was awesome and greatly appreciated. The communication with the Hotel via "Whats App" was very good and helpful. That is how we checked on Shuttle times, Room Service and made general enquiries. The Bar Cocktails were yummy flavors and nice and strong lol! And buy 2 get 1 free left everyone happy!

AustraliaLost of mosquitos and only one of the beds had mosquito nets. Ants infested the one chair by the pool. Food at restaurant not great. Bathroom had a bad smell even after the gave it a really good clean.
Away from the hustle and bustle, our villa was a nice retreat from ubud. Staff were super nice, beds were comfy and the place was very safe for kids. There was a yoga hall that the kids loved to play in. Anything we needed the staff helped us quickly and communication was always good.

SingaporeThe resort's pictures online are pretty much deceiving. The general upkeep of the rooms and the private pool is poor. The PowerPoints are not secured to the wall and your charging will require something heavy to hold the plugs in place. If you enjoy the occasional rat scurrying across your dining area, huge black ants on the bed frames and spiders the size of tennis balls lurking in the wardrobes, this is the right villa for your next stay. The breakfast has a poor selection of food too. And if you want that additional 'spooky' experience, do request the Kunti 3 bedroom villa (the villa's name doesn't help much). You might have an additional female dressed in white hanging out near the pool after 2am.
The staff were friendly. That's about the only positive thing that came out of my trip.

Singapore1. Too many insects- spiders, ants, beetles, flies 2. Too many creatures- lizards, FROGS The frogs were the worst of them all. They were croaking SO LOUDLY THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. We couldn't sleep AT ALL. We asked the staff for a mini refund of the stay because its ridiculous for the price we paid to be unable to have a good night's rest. They only relented a little after much negotiation with their manager and gave us a free ride to the port for our next leg of the trip. 😑 3. No fridge, no oven, no microwave 4. NO TV
The main bedroom was huge. The bathrooms were huge. Shampoo and soap were provided in a communal bottle form. The staff was exceptional. They responded to our requests very quickly. It's near food and a place where they organise activities like water rafting and stuff (more of a pickup point)
