When we arrived a women that doesn’t speak much English welcomed us. She offered something to drink and was nice. But the room was extremely dirty. Bed linen with many stains (of blood I think), some hair, etc. Clearly it wasn’t changed/washed after previous guests. The blanket didn’t have a linen at all!!! Means it’s never washed! Same situation in the bathroom (dirty everywhere, some toothpaste in the sink, etc). Lady proposed another room, which had overall same state but at least no stains on the linens. When next day we asked her for the taxi, her husband wanted to charge us the same price as for Ubud while we just needed to do a halfway until temples. To summarize, do not go there. There are many people coming to hike directly from Ubud or other cities and I think its a best option (even if more exhausting) because this place is not much developed, poor choice of restaurant and food, no possibility to get a taxi and a lot of flies everywhere, making it impressible to stay outside.

Nothing. We reserved one night at this property cause we saw it the reviews that they organize a hiking to Mt Batur. We arrived by taxi from Ubud and quickly understood that we are in the middle of nowhere. There is only one restaurant near which is owned by Mowgli, the guy who contacted us via booking to offer different options for mt batur tracking. It appeared that property owned by his uncle. It was the only person who spoke well English and who helped us to get out of this place because there is no taxi there, there is nothing.
