Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab Emirates- not a 5 star property as shown on booking.com - stains on towels and blanket - stains on the walls - dead mosquito/ant on bath towel - avocado toast not available for breakfast - mosquitoes in breakfast area but maybe due to rainy season
- close to ubud market - spacious room and bathroom - great bathtub - hot water available in the shower - reasonably priced spa services - free photoshoot offered - free shuttle service to ubud market available 3 times a day

AustraliaThe stairs. For me to be located on the lower ground floor was just too many stairs up to reception then up for breakfast for more stairs then up the stairs again to go to the pool. The ramp at the front was frightening and hard to understand why they would expect guests to slip and slide down ramp with no rail. Unfortunately I would not stay there again
The breakfast was superb. The staff were very helpful.

RomaniaThe management team is not at a 5 star level at it should be. They changed us the schedule many times in the last moment. You will always need a car/driver in order to get in and out from the hotel.
Very big rooms with all you need. Food was better than expected after we read the reviews.

IsraelThe pool was dirty, apparently they had a problem with the filter but they didn’t let us know about that. So we didnt use the pool and did not get any refund. Very disappointing. The location is far from the city.

IrelandWe weren’t given the suite room we booked which included a desk and a sofa for us to work. When querying this when we first arrived, was told tough luck nothing we can do. In addition, Food is not up to standard. Breakfast was poor each morning so I’d suggest missing that off if you can.
Good location, close to the centre of Ubud but far enough off the beaten track that it is peaceful. Pool area and rooms are delightful.

AustraliaI would have rated Weda Cita higher, but the room smelled very musty/mouldy and there were water stains on the day bed and some of the cushions. I requested a room swap and the staff kindly showed me another room, but it smelled similar to mine so I took their offer of a de-humidifier instead. Some of the towels and robes were also in very worn condition.

SingaporeThe bathroom needs some improvement. The shower floor was slippery. There were no grab bars at the shower, which is a necessity for old folks, and would have been useful for the young too given that the floor had smooth tiles. There was also no shower curtain which meant that water sprayed up to two feet beyond the (very low) one-inch kerb. The pillows were too heavy and tall. They were difficult to shift and were not comfortable for necks. We suspected that the bed sheets and pillows were not changed for our use when we arrived. They were changed only after the first night of stay.
The location was fine although a little far to walk to Ubud Centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

LatviaThe room smells like mold and sewage... (check other latest reviews) the pools mattresses were covered in mold. I don't know why the rating is so high for this hotel..
The location was better then the other hotel we stayed in Ubud, staff was nice and not so pushy, peacefully left as alone which was nice.

CroatiaWe booked a suite room, so we got room 104 which was amazing, it was a very spatial room of at least 65m2 and direct entrance and view to the pool area, but after a few minutes we came to the reception to ask for a new room because is had a very very bad damp odor. We were moved to 105 which was better but after a whole day out we came back to the room and the strong odor became present (I assume because they had a dehumidifier machine the whole day inside of the room). So we asked again for help and we were given a dehumidifier machine but we couldn’t stay in the room as the odor was too bad. We were moved to room 201 on the 1st floor at midnight as my girlfriend has health problems and couldn’t stay in the previous room anymore. 201 had no problem with the damp odor but it was actually a DOWNGRADED room. The staff and the hotel manager tried to convince me that the new room is in the same category as the previous two but it simply wasn’t close to the ones we previously had. 201 had a view at the facade of the hotel and the neighborhood, it was at least 15-20m2 smaller than the previous two rooms. It is actually not even close as the Suite Room pictures advertised on the internet. I accepted to stay in 201 and I really wouldn’t mind to stay in the room but I wanted to have my money back for the room price difference as it is not even close to the previous room when we speak of size and view. Again after two conversations with the manager who was really nice I realized there is no point of trying as he claimed that room 201 is a suite room. I was offered a free massage and to upgrade the room but no upgrades were available. The massage I kindly declined as the massage price is not remotely close to the price difference what we paid for a standard room and a suite room. Some other downsides are that the TV channels don’t work and the sunbeds at the pool were very dirty and I advised of that but nothing was done.
The hotel is beautiful, the staff like Sukus their trainee and other receptionists whose name I unfortunately don’t remember were very nice. Location is great but the overall experience was not enjoyable because of our room inconvenience.

AustraliaI felt that it was not 5 star or superb in quality as it was rated. When I arrived the hotel itself looked beautiful in the lobby gardens and overall aesthetic - It is photographed like a large well established resort but it’s really a small 19 room hotel, which although the rooms look like the photos the quality and cleanliness was a bit disappointing. it felt lower quality in the stay and I was disappointed as I had previously stayed at a resort the day before which was the same rating and they were worlds apart in quality. The sheets, furniture, day beds etc were dirty and the lighting in my room kept turning on and off. the staff however were extremely helpful, kind, welcoming and professional and the friendliness made up for the other issues. Overall I would say it was pleasant but not great
The staff were extremely friendly and the gardens were beautiful, a close ride to town of Ubud also

United KingdomThe room had a slight damp smell to it, the bedding is far too thick for the climate and not enough sun gets to the pool area meaning only two lounges get this (which someone always bags early)
It was secluded but also quite close to the centre of Ubud. Members of staff were very friendly and would do anything to help.

United KingdomOur deluxe room smelt like damp & was a little dingy. The pool was nice but very shaded and pool cushions were dirty. To get water you had to fill your own bottles up from a fountain that only gave out warm water - needs improving as we had to go out and buy some to get cold water. Hotel was quite far from the centre and they don’t like you using grab / gojek but offer you local taxis that are double the price. Was below expectations for a 5* hotel.
Very peaceful hotel. Staff were pleasant.

NetherlandsBreakfast worst I have had. Example: coffee is made not fresh and I suspect they use powder. Croissant: taken straight from a plastic wrapping (like the ones from the supermarket). And smelly rooms. Pool is not interesting to use... Not 5 star.
Rooms are big and bathroom is huge and very good. Location is also good.
