Wonderloft hostel is incredible!!! I really had an unforgettable stay, the vibe and staff are amazing! This is the kind of place you want to be when you travel. Beds and dorms are confortable and the hostel and bathrooms are clean. Also you have Air con at the bedrooms. All the staff is ready and happy to help you and they are always there for you ❤️ I felt like home and I regret not staying more time. For sure, next time in yogyakarta I will be at Wonderloft Hostel

Good hostel, the rooms were clean, no insects, good AC and nice Jacuzzi, the outdoor bathrooms/WC are very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful 🫶🏻 will coming back for sureee!

- not all rooms have windows (what you know in advance when you’ll book) however due to the lack of air circulation, the rooms can have unpleasant smells

- nice common rooms (you can either hang out at the jacuzzi or on the roof top) - clean bathrooms - nice rooms - big lockers - amazing location (quite enough were you can walk places but busy enough that there are many delicious restaurants around)

It would be better if there was a hair dryer. And after raining water that came out from faucet and shower became dirty.

The bed and the bathroom were very clean. The location was also good. I wanted to get trans jogja and there were some bus stops close to the hostel. And the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff is very friendly and committed. They help you with everything you need. The common area is very nice and welcoming it makes easier to meet other guests. The best place to stay in Yogyakarta.

There was randomly a slug in my room, might have been my fault though but not sure how that got in there. Besides that, no negative points!

Really nice looking hostel and the staff is super kind! They helped me book the train to the airport and to book a tour within Yogyakarta. Room was also comfortable and shared showers and toilets are clean! Few nice coffee places near the hostel but to really get to the center might take you a 5-10 minute bike ride but wasn’t too bothered by that.

The door of my dorm was super squeaky and got stuck on the floor and therefore made a lot of noise when opening and closing. Not great for a good night sleep when you have a roommate like I did who liked going in and out of the room like 10 times at 5:30. 3 days in a row. Fixing that door would be great for some peace and quiet in the room.

It’s an amazing hostel with super friendly staff and comfortable beds. Really liked the location and the coffee place next door. They clean everything every day. Full on deep cleaning. That was very nice. They can also book you a tour to Borobudur and/or Prambanan.

The pictures of the accomodation are misleading. The pool is not usable at all. The staff should take urgent action to give it a deep clean as it is full of algue. They unfortunately have some renovations going on but you won't really notice it.

The quiet hour is 11pm everywhere at the hostel. I think it can be 10 pm especially near the jacuzzi area.

Location is good, not so far from train station, the hostel staff are very helpful ( especially Amy who is helping me a lot).

I really loved how the staff went out of their way to help us. They helped me when I needed training tickets, tours, suggestions, and a couple of personal things. The hostel was clean and I always felt safe The room had good air conditioning and the outside area in front of the property was very cozy

- lockers are big, but looks a bit shabby and are outside the room - plugs are not very conveniently located, right on top of your head where you sleep, means cables dangling onto you

- storage space around the bed is big enough - good AC temp - social, nice space to sit outside, fridge to get beer/drinks from - staff is friendly and helpful

AC was too high, i was freezing everynight because the room was too cold , it was hard to sleep The curtain on the top bed do not give privacy as they stop right above the bed rail so your whole face and body is visible. Bird in a cage - no bird needs to be trapped in a cage, very common in indonesia but this is animal cruelty to me

The hostel is about 3 km from the city center. To get there you can either walk or get a grab. I really liked the location, as it is not on the main street, so you don't hear the traffic noise. Also, there are a lot of really nice cafès for breakfast, many restaurants (both local and international), and a couple of supermakets. I was in the female room and I had a really nice stay. I met a lot of nice and sociable people...we visited the temples all together! One of the staff is the most amazing guy I have ever met! It was really nice to talk to him and he went above and beyond to accomodate everyone's requests. If I was to go back to Yogyakarta, I would definitely go back there! The hostel has lockers (you need you own lock) and free water refills. The common area is super nice and there is always someone hanging around.
