“We received a warm welcome by the host. The house was warm and dry, ideal for hill-walkers. It is set in an ideal location for access to the mountains, with private parking (ideal for motorbikes). Tea, coffee and snacks were on tap if desired. The host had no problem with us bringing in wet gear, and we were helped with drying them out overnight. The bedroom and en-suite were clean, comfortable and warm. The cooked breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed. And we were sent on our way with good wishes. It was hearty Irish hospitality. The whole experience was a pleasure. We accidentally left some cash, and Michael the host kindly forwarded it on to us. Thank you.”
