Even though the heater was on it took a long time for the apartment to warm up and the bathroom was very cold

It was clean and had everything you wanted and the location was very good

the shower facilities are not ups to scratch. very little flow of water. you cant use the toilet and have a shower at the same time. it needs time to build up water reserve. Plumping is interconnected. when flusing the toilet you can hear the water move in the kitchen sink!! bathroom has holes in the ceiling around the van. the shower itself is so small when turning slightly to reach for soap can accidentally turn the shower knob to hot and could potentially hurt someone.

it was quiet. lots of equipment (of which im not sure if it is that useful, such as a kitchenette, ironing board and even a hover). good night sleep which is the main thing, so no noise and good blinds to keep the light out are the most important things you need.

The room had a slight dampness to it.

Great location, clean. The owner was very efficient and communicated instructions clearly. Contactless check-in and check out. The price was very reasonable, especially during the weekend of the Fleadh. We were going to a wedding, and I messaged the owner about an early check in, he kept me in the loop and facilitated an early check-in. There is a kitchen with everything you need and instructions in the room on how to use the hob. It is a very handy location for Newbay House.

The lock box was a tiny bit high to reach, I still managed though. If I had trouble I'm sure the manager would have helped as he had given me his number should I need help.

Nice clean place all the facilities that I needed and a hot water bottle! There wasn't anywhere to plug in my phone etc so, one was brought to me straightaway. In the morning the room was warm , the bathroom was clean and the shower was easy to use. The kitchen had everything that the normal person would need.

Bed felt a bit cold at night despite having heater on beside it, making it hard to get a proper night's sleep. No towel racks to place used towels.

Had all the facilities I needed, like a kettle, fridge, oven, shower, TV etc. Oven was handy to cook the odd pizza. Tea bags and milk were provided to make tea. Chocolate biscuits were also provided. You can stream Netflix on the tv. I binged watched episodes of a show for both nights. Not in town centre but not too far to walk, at least for me anyway. A few bus stops are a short walk away, for both local and long distance services. The main hospital is near by as well as the racecourse. There is an Aldi just around the corner for families staying to get food, drink, etc. Rate was very good value for money when compared to most hotels. I would recommend staying here again.

The bed is fairly comfortable but not brilliant. An unexpected cut in the water supply was a pain on the last night

A warm welcome which was much appreciated as I arrived soaking. Although I didn't get to meet the host, he had laid on basics for hot drinks.

On arrival it felt unlived in. A more powerful dehumidifier would easily solve that. There is no view... but I was aware of that.

A Home Away From Home in Wexford Town!

The location was a good half hour walk to Wexford town (and in the other direction 10 minutes to a major bus stop at the Maldron hotel), but was near an Aldi supermarket - very handy; there were no hangers to hang up clothes - I had to improvise; there were no towel hooks at all; emptying the bin from the previous guest had been overlooked...

I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in this house - the owner seemed very attentive (even though we did not meet as it was conveniently self check-in)... a secure location at the back of a main house; the kitchen had all you need - oven, stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, air fryer, all kitchen implements to cook and there was even some food and drinks there (no coffee though!); the wifi was excellent and the TV was thru Skyglass - Irish, UK and foreign channels as well as access to series and movies (I was delighted to be able to watch...17 episodes of a series I had not been able to access elsewhere!); the heating (radiator) was good (even though I wasn't 100% sure how to use it correctly...); shower gel and liquid soap were provided...
