The B&B is situated on a quiet road literally minutes from Shannon Town and Airport as well as being close to Limerick and the wider Clare region. Very pleasant garden around the house with plenty parking. Deirdre the host made all guests feel very welcome and offered advice for local hospitality and connections to onward destinations. Breakfast was very informal with very good choice and plenty top up for tea and coffee. Great start to the day!

It was one of the best stays we had in Ireland. Such a lovely room. The B&B is very closer from the highway, so super convenient. Amazing breakfast and absolutely lovely owner, Deidra who is talkative and informative and it makes you feel like you are staying at home. Really lovely accommodation.

I liked everything. Towns nearby but a rural environment. Restaurant within walking distance.. supermarket nearby in Shannon town.

Deirdre was lovely, so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We liked the Penguins (biscuits), the breakfasts, the comfy beds, the quietness at night, the parking, the proximity to the airport and just everything really!

We loved the hospitality that Dierdra showed. The property is beautiful and close to Shannon which was so nice after a long day of traveling. The room was nice and private and the breakfast was delicious. Dierdra gave some great food recommendations. Highly recommend this place!

The host cooks an authentic Irish breakfast. Deidre is most hospitable and helpful. I highly recommend this B&B to travellers wanting to visit Limerick or Bunratty. Close to Shannon airport.

Tea and coffee facilities not in the room, but was available downstairs. Bathroom a little too small for us. Didn’t really want a family room. Would have preferred a larger double room. Bed very squeaky and extractor quite loud.

I can’t say anything bad, it was our last stop prior to flying out of Shannon. We didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast because we left early, but the hostess was gracious enough to ask if she could prepare something to take with us. We declined and appreciated the offer.

The family room was very spacious and clean for 4 people. The host was lovely. Although we couldn't have a full breakfast due to our early flight, the host kindly set out fruits, cereals, and a kettle, allowing us to grab a quick bite before leaving, which was much appreciated.

Location is superb as it conveniently located by the airport and within driving distance of a great pub for dinner. The breakfast was an added bonus and was delicious. Check-in was easy and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived.

Nothing could have been better!!

Such a wonderful experience!! Deirdre and Freddy were excellent hosts, breakfast was fantastic. There were 11 of us ranging in age from 2 to 62!! Our experience at Avarest was Fantastic!
