We were attending an event and went to that for the evening. On our return had some drinks in the main hotel bar. The staff were very good and we really enjoyed the evening. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. A real treat.

Absolutely no negatives.

Everything about my stay at Benners hotel was absolutely perfect. From the friendly staff, delicious food and the room was spotless and the bed incredible comfortable. Another positive is that it is right in town so close to all amenities and the train station so perfect location. I will diffinetly be staying again.

Our bedroom was to the front of the hotel, the street was very noisy after the club’s closed. Bed was very hard. Breakfast was very nice and so were staff.

I’d never stay at this hotel again. The whole experience was a nightmare. Firstly the booking of the hotel is so painful. You have to email this girl called orla who takes her time replying if she even does , it’s so ridiculous & tedious that you can just ring them to sort everything , also in person orla is quite forward in her personality. Then when we arrived our room smelt so bad of newly painted paint . We asked to be moved & the receptionist was lovely but all the rooms smelt the same so after the 4th room we were so tired from the whole process that we just gave in & slept in the smell. The rooms are old & cold . None of the electric heaters worked in any of the 4 rooms & there was no Wi-Fi codes giving , no plugs by bed & 1 teabag or each in the room for tea.It was New Year’s Eve but there was no DJ as he got covid but he wasn’t replaced so it was dead there all night . Only saving grace to the hotel is the food & Modern feel to molly j’s (the separate bar section )breakfast was beautiful. The stay over was horrible.

My parents stayed in Benners for 3 nights . They were so impressed with the staff and the hotel overall. I believe the receptionist was extremely kind to my mum when my mum returned from the hospital.....so thank you !! Much appreciated. My parents will be returning for another stay in your establishment.

I asked for an alarm call. Even most one star accommodation can afford this simple request. I arrived at close to 2am. I had to leave for an important engagement by 8am, so I asked for a 7.15am alarm call. By chance I woke at 7.45am. I missed my appointment. I was late. For a 4* hotel this is not acceptable. The hotel contributed to a negative representation of my company. This is completely unacceptable.

Decor of room, very dull. Tv ariel connection very loose, kettle could not reach socket beside it. Socket on desk too tight to desk top to use. Room overlooked rear of building. Shower took an incredibly long time to heat up. Very loud, constant, vibrating buzzing noise woke me up at 7am. Breakfast was ok, no peppermint tea available. Food quality could be better. Initially I thought €10 for breakfast was cheap but then having experienced it I think I would have spent the €10 on food elsewhere.

could not enter the hotel after 1 am nobody at the desk to let us in . Had to wait for 29 mind before we could get in hot water tap ran brown water and the room was cold no heating on

Bed was firm but my god did it squeek!! Also, was kept awake from 00.30 to 03.00 by people racing up and down the street in a car with a modified exhaust pipe that made it extra loud. Not the fault of the hotel but still the experience sleeping was very poor. Location therefore is not great for a quiet night. The window in the room was open and was behind another window. In order to close the outside window, I had to climb onto the table and reach over the inside window and attempt to close the outside window. Very badly designed.

Love the staff, very professional and lovely. Facilities were good, basic but you get what you pay for. Location is very central and price was super. Room size was large and TV was much bigger than other hotels.
