The room was quite compact and certainly didn’t have city or garden views as advertised. There were 2 velux roof lights however.

The location was fabulous. Just a short walk to the main shopping and restaurants as well as Kilkenny Castle. Both sisters were more than helpful to answer all our questions and provide ideas for things to do. Breakfasts were plentiful and good. So many options of what to eat.

It’s a quaint older building. Beds were old but surprisingly comfortable. They were a little insistant on knowing when we’re were arriving. We were driving from Killarney and sightseeing on the way so we weren’t really sure. it added a lot of stress to our day trying to get there when we predicted we would be. It worked out fine but the multiple messages asking our arrival time was difficult.

Host welcomed us with coffee and biscuits on arrival and was helpful in with our travels. Breakfast was cooked for us and was delicious and plentiful one of the best so far the morning staff were delightful, bathroom was clean but small . Kilkenny was a gem would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location on a quiet street, walking distance to everything, best Irish hospitality, best breakfast...so many choices, owner went out to get us fresh scones in the am. Owner sat us down for welcome tea and gave good suggestions for activities and food. Very welcoming and charming breakfast room and rooms.

Floor space was limited, so large luggage was a challenge.

Breakfast options allowed for personal choices. Location was central to town, river side, easy access to public transportation and tourist sites.

Great Location. Breakfast was very good, a variety of cereals, fruits, and hot cooked breakfast if you wanted it. The host was very helpful in providing a map and suggestions of where to visit and eat.

It’s a very quaint, quiet, lovely place to stay that is very conveniently located. The hot breakfast that was served by the owner was delicious. She was also wonderful to take to and very accommodating during our stay.

The only challenge was that the bathroom was tiny. We are on the larger side and it was difficult to maneuver in there.

The location was perfect. it Was just steps to all the sites and downtown. The staff was wonderful, helpful and lovely.

There was nothing to dislike. Hotels have become so impersonal with pre cooked breakfasts. This was like being welcomed into a friends home.

Freshly cooked breakfast, cereal, juice, yogurt, my husband was so happy to get a pot of coffee as it’s usually just a cup and my daughter and I got a second pot of tea.
