The staff was very kind and helpful and the rooms were clean. You could not hear any noises from the bar, and the free breakfast was as "light" as they advertised it, but more than enough! Would definitely recommend staying there.

The toilet roll is so thin and unnecessary. It took so much time up when it's a fixable problem. The showers 30 seconds then stops. Not cracking

Room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The hostel staff were very accommodating when there was an issue with the room on the final night because of another guest, offering a complimentary drink and a move to another room.

Lovely friendly staff, clean and well kept rooms, and super close to Cork city centre. Also not far from the public transport stations to go out exploring. Felt extremely comfortable here, and would recommend!

You can hear all the sounds outside, the bunk beds have no bedside table or similar (only to put my glasses somewhere when I sleep for example), the plug was too far from my head to have my phone close to me when in bed. No privacy curtain on the bed.

Basic but exactly what you need if you just need a place to sleep, and it’s a bonus that the food and bar is nice as well 🙂

The double room with private bathroom was just what we needed for a one night stay. Friendly staff and great location. It’s basic but if it’s the cheapest option in the area I will always pick it. Very clean and nice bar. Pizza was really good! €15 pizza and pint 🙂

It was bunk beds and the room was on floor level so everyone could see from the street. They charged us to keep our bags in the place because we arrived before the check-in time, that is crazy.

It is a place just for sleep, isn’t cozy and welcoming place. The room is quite small and soulless.

Some guests are really annoying sothat it's hard to have a nice sleep. Somebody talks so loud at 2 a.m. as if it is in a concert hall with 140 dB rock music instead of a bedroom for rest. If it's at a school's dormitory, they will be caned. There is also a woman who keeps me awake all the time from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. sothat I must use sleeping pills. Her snoring is so loud as if I am travelling back to 1940 and experiencing the Blitz in London. If sound can generate electricity, then all the power stations in the world will go bankrupt because of her. And, after all no lifts, very hard to carry heavy items

The room is very tidy, and has a bathroom with lock. The condition here is good if there are not much luggages. It's happy to find a place that bans smoking in the whole building area! And, no tolerance to anyone who smokes in the building. I think this rule should also be introduced to my country. Cigarettes has the worst smell of the world, I'd rather kiss the socks of my brother. I love the beer at the pub.

When asked staff for activities on what to do in Cork, they couldn't really recommend anything for us to do.

Location was good-most things were in walkable distance. Lockable lockers under beds. Small breakfast.

Even though it is ok top of a pub, it's quite enough for a night of sleep. What annoyed me was the toilet paper on the room, that was stuck and I couldn't take it out, and since there wasn't towels I couldn't dry my hands or my face properly. I got there at 1am after a really bad experience at the airport, I wouldn't bother anyone at that time about something so tiny. It's a good place to stay, though.

The rooms and bathrooms were quite dark and not the most well kept. The bathrooms were fine enough for the job, but definitely could use some scrubbing and care. The shared common spaces were also a little sparse and could use more attention. My room was right above the live music in the bar so I could hear and feel the music until 11pm, so I could not sleep when I wanted to.
