The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was also a shared lounge room. Breakfast was great and parking is on the property. The town is a short drive away and has several dining choices

Too far to comfortably walk into town, especially at night on the very narrow winding roads. Fortunately there was an excellent pub and restaurant less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Also, check in was a bit abrupt and unfriendly and not too helpful, unusual for a nice B&B. Also, the wifi did not quite work in our room, excellent downstairs, but not in our room.

The breakfast was good, views were amazing.

Perfect spot. 1.3 kilometers to Baltimore. They have pubs there from which you can see at the harbor. Also we had live music.

Breakfast could have been more varied maybe

Channel View has amazing views, pleasant outside space, breakfast is in the sunny lobby overlooking the bay and everything was organised and spotless. Easy walking distance to an excellent pub and the village of Baltimore.

Channel View is a really pleasant accomodation and undoubtedly recommendable when visiting lovely Baltimore. What is to be highlighted, is the great hospitality we received. Margaret is the perfect hostess, always looking after the guests and making sure that everybody is fine. The breakfast was rich and delicous, with a great view onto the water. Also, the room was neat, comfortable and clean. From Channel View, you‘d need to walk into town (about 1 km), but totally doable. In fact, after some food and pints it is recommended anyway.

My mother stayed here several years ago and raved about the exceptional high standards and service of the place and I’m happy to report those standards have been maintained all these years! Margaret and her husband are absolutely lovely hosts and it is an absolute pleasure to stay in this B&B. Comfortable, spotless, attention to detail, easy to locate and a great base to visit all of West Cork! Highly recommend staying here!

Margaret was a fantastic host with helpful advice on local attractions. The B&B itself is in a very scenic location, overlooking the bay at Baltimore. Breakfast was excellent with good variety and generous portions. Rooms were spacious with en-suite bathrooms spotless. Highly recommended!

Channel View is only about 1 km from Baltimore but the road is inhospitable for pedestrians for most of the way. But the excellent local taxi driver is willing to do short runs.

In an ideal world, we’ve have loved a larger sized bed, plenty of room for it.
