It's a very expensive place to stay, getting upgraded made it a bit less painful!

The surrounding scenery is spectacular, beautiful walks, breakfast was very good and we were upgraded to a suite which was fantastic. The meal in the restaurant was excellent and very good value.

Seaweed baths ... are brilliant The facials and t staff.are 10 out 10.for atmosphere service and food was amazing and the rooms are.spacious ... Out door facilities and walk ways are gr8 for adults an kids and bike trails are brilliant ... The views are.to.die for and the people in general who attend are all so nice an its a brilliant hotel def be back in t summer again 😍💕😍💕

we took the long way around a mountain which was very stressful coing from Westport. I think it would be helpful to warn about the difficulties of going that way.

I had a massage in the Spa & unfortunately it was extremely poor. Had been really looking forward to this & was so disappointed. My friend had same experience also. More training required as massage was not cheap so need to get value for money.

Breakfast - fantastic. Dinner - really good. My favourite was the chowder, had it twice. Location - wonderful. Charming, rugged and beautiful surrounds with no distractions. Facilities - the surrounding area is great for the outdoorsy - there is loads to see and do. In the hotel itself - I just used the thermal suite - jacuzzi was very good.

Stunning location, amazing room, really enjoyed the activities, spa and food. We had a family suite for four people but was big enough for double that! The kids enjoyed the Bog Obstacle course, whilst the adults were self-indulging in spa treatments. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

The location, hotel and facilities were excellent. It really suited our family group, and the staff were very accommodating. The food was very reasonable, and we had a lovely breakfast each morning. The staff were fantastic: Deirdre who checked us in on arrival was so helpful and Clodagh looked after us very well in the spa and thermal suite.

I left my toiletries and night dress behind. Totally my fault but when I ask later the day of check out if they had my things, apparently "nothing was found". Not the response I was expecting from a 4 star resort

Food was only OK. Was disappointed. Eat in the bar . Menu not exciting. Presented nicely by lovely girl, but lacked flavour. Thai curry wattery. Breakfast was not good. Food was cold and appeared to have been cooked the night before. Very poor selection of fruit, yogourts pastrys and breads. All of my extended family stay at various times over each summer but I will reconsider before I book again. Outside could do with a good tityup. Our window looked out on to the back of the building and it looked scruffy.

The Hotel is located on the grounds of my Ancestors home so it is a very special place to my family. The scenery is so beautiful. Its nice and quiet. The bed very comfortable. Staff lovely.
