The underfloor heating seemed to come on automatically at night without our control and it was too hot for sleeping

I most definitely recommend this place. They helped me out getting there since my check-in day was a bank holiday and I was stuck 40 minutes out with no way to get there. They helped me out to find activities to do and are super sweeet :)

The only thing I can think of is that it would have been nice to have a little table or cart to put a toiletry bag on in the bathroom. And that’s me being really picky!

Warm welcome. Very nice comfortable Accommodation in convenient location to Doolin Villages and Aran sland Ferry port. Everything has been thought about for the Guest comfort. Nice warm bathroom and comfy bed. spotless clean. Onsite parking

Room was cold, couldn't turn the heat up, shower doors were very bad very hard too open. A little bit more tlc would make a big difference.

No windows in the rooms that opened so the rooms were a little too hot and stuffy with no air movement. The property is in need of an update. Everything was old and outdated, with a tiny shower and the toilet sounded like a foghorn when flushing.

It was on the grond floor with a door direct to the room. It had a motel feel. The walk in shower was quite new, but it was not thought through. The pressure of the handshower was quite hard when you use it, make sure that you don't wet everything.

Walkable distance to restaurants. The room was quite big with 2 double beds and it was very comfortable.

Accomodation was average, a little outdated. 1 chair provided. Hand wash liquid in bathroom was half full had been previously used and was watered down.

I mentioned poor internet and reception persons said that's how it is. Hit and miss, so we just ate the costs and went to another hotel. :(

Costly room with poor non functioning internet. We left and got a room at Hotel Doolin. I just ate the cost for 2 rooms at the Lodge Doolin.

No reception - the reception area was mostly locked. No wifi, although it was a listed amenity. Cell service was spotty, though maybe not the hotel's fault. We arrived at 3 pm; reception was locked. when we came back at 4:30, we were shown our room and an additional common area with a kitchen and tables and chairs, "for all the guests". So we bought some things to eat instead of going to another pub, but the door to the room was locked. Reception was also locked. Later, we were told that the area had been rented.There was a kettle in the room, but the cord was too short to reach any outlet unless you set it on the floor: not a good idea with a young child. We were there 2 nights, but the room was never tidied, nor trash emptied. There was only one towel rack, but three people in the room. So wet towels stayed wet.

Heating wasn't working in the room. It was warmer out in the corridor than in the room. I thought they were trying to save money and cut down on heating which is fair enough but our heating never came on once. Was uncomfortably cold. Mentioned it to staff but he wasn't to pushed about it

Room was a little cold without a way to control the temperature. There were a couple odd details - no hooks for towels in the bathroom, the door that didn't quite close properly - but nothing that took a lot away from the experience.

The Lodge is in the perfect location in Doolin - it's a 5-minute walk to either side of town. The dining room where breakfast is held is adorable, and the food is simple but tasty. Great shower.
