Carmel & Martin are lovely people and will do anything for you. It’s a very remote area and we don’t drive so was grateful for the lifts into town.

There wasn’t anything to dislike, just don’t imagine you are going to stay at the Holiday Express.

Homely, welcoming, terrific breakfast with freshly laid eggs. It was like starting with your aunt.

Had issues with hot water that persisted throughout our stay. Beds need refreshed.

The hosts were very helpful with local knowledge and suggestions. Very friendly couple. Rooms were in a private wing, with dedicated entrance off driveway. Breakfast was good, cooked to order.

Carmel and Martin were welcoming hosts. Delightful room with all needed amenities. The beds were so comfortable. We all slept great and woke to hot showers and a hot delicious breakfast made to order. Our kids loved looking at the animals, even helping to feed the sheep. Great stay!

location was far and Doolin has no cabs it was impossible to get there

its was a good quiet clean comfy room with wonderful hosts who even dropped me to my bus in the morning and explained which busses applied to my journey

Maybe just a wee fan in the room so If wanting the windows closed it isn't too warm in the summer, but not a major!

Best eggs I have ever tasted!! First time trying white and black pudding too and even that was amazing. Loved the stories from the owners and chatting to the sheep and other animals there. Beautiful hearing the rain outside from my top floor room in the morning sleeping in!

Martin and Carmel are welcoming and friendly people that are really trying to make you feel comfortable and are successful in that. We had a great time in The Burren and their lovely house.

Doolin is a very "rustic area and town" with many narrow roads to navigate so you need to be prepared for the associated challenges which we were as we have travelled the "Wild Atlantic Way" on numerous occasions. Finding their location which is a bit off the beaten path is a bit of a challenge but with some GPS assistance it is very doable and this is a challenge that you will have in most of western Ireland.

The breakfast was excellent and they would provide pretty much whatever you wanted. Carmel and her husband were excellent hosts and provided a great deal of local knowledge and direction with regards to things to do and places to visit and eat. They were ready to engage in meaningful conversation be it politics, world affairs, the economy etc without being over political but very informative "from the Irish perspective".

Had trouble finding the property. More signage on the road(s) would help and/or directions on the web site. The hosts were not ready for us when we arrived. They had misplaced our reservation.

Carmel and Martin welcomed us warmly late at night and on a last min booking. Her breakfast was delicious! She makes strong coffee too which I love! I was traveling with my adult daughter and needed two beds so we booked the family room. It had two twins and a queen so if my wife and son were with us, we’d have all fit for a very good price.
