The hospitality was second to none.

Carmel and Martin feel like old friends from the moment you meet them. They are warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are large, breakfast is good and the location is wonderful. The beds are so comfortable that you are guaranteed a great night's sleep. The location is rural and very peaceful but still only a short drive from so many wonderful places.

The hosts were so welcoming and inviting. They gave us recommendations for the area and gave us a warm delicious breakfast of our choice. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We also had amazing hot showers. iI you're headed to the cliffs or just want a break in the countryside, stay here!!

Finally a B&B like they used to be! It feels like you step into the private home of someone. Its their taste of decour, not the usual you see nowadays. The Hosts are interested in their guests and have always Stories to tell. They even take the time to show you all their animals, if you are interested. And you can geht a full Irish breakfast If you want to. The view from the house ist amazing. Stay as you are, please dont change anything!!

Difficult to get a good night sleep. Few in the group were affected by the lack of cleanliness and bed quality.

To be perfectly honest, personally I wouldn’t change a thing, the home had such character and to alter that would take from the experience which my two young daughters and I had and thoroughly enjoyed.

Fantastic brekkie, variety and catered for all. Owners were so welcoming such a lovely couple a veritable home away from home. Room was very spacious, comfortable, cosy and clean. Beautiful views and a lovely setting in the countryside.

We loved our stay at Doolin Sunset! The hosts were so friendly and kind, and the property has amazing farm animals in the garden. The breakfast was made to order and delicious with eggs fresh from the garden. Would highly recommend!

Hosts were very accommodating, providing interesting information about the area, calling a taxi for us as well as a delicious breakfast. Martin shared his pet lambs,ducks, chickens and peacock with us which made our visit even more enjoyable.

Out on a goat track not near any amenities. Bathroom oversized toilet and shower was unusable - when turned on shower made a very loud grinding noise and switched between boiling and freezing water.

Carmel and Martin were such wonderful hosts and it was like home away from home for me - so welcoming and hospitable and the home cooking was delicious. I’d strongly recommend it to others.

The main living spaces and exterior of the place were not as tidy or as clean as expected. A little farther out of town than expected.

The people were exceptionally kind and welcoming. They gave us maps and recommendations where to eat and best routes to our destination. They also asked about any dietary restrictions. The room and bathroom were tidy and clean.

The property is about 10 minutes away from Doolin so if you want to be in the village — be aware. However, if you have a car, it is no trouble to drive into the town.

Doolin Sunset was an incredibly beautiful location in the countryside. The ducks, chickens, and peacock were delightful. The bed was cozy. The shower was hot. Everything was clean and tidy. A charming spot.

There was nothing we did not like.

Staff went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Even made calls to the local pub when we arrived late to eat in town. Room and bath were very clean and quiet. The food was home cooked to order and delicious. The host was a great conversationalist whom we enjoyed. The animals were a treat to meet the next morning. The stay was a great value.

Everything was perfect, the house it's big and very comfortable. Karmel and Martin are so nice, they treat us like family, they give tips for some activities and was really nice and flexible with check in and check out. The breakfast was perfect and so tasty it's like my mother foods. I'm going to come back for spend more days and enjoy the area and im going to stay with karmel and Martin again because was everything perfect

We had a wonderful stay, perfect location just near the Doolin ferry and village , the room was clean with a beautiful view and they made us feel right at home, they were so welcoming and warm, and lovely to spend breakfast with , would love to stay again on our next trip!
