The location is a little far from the centre but it is very walkable if you don't have mobility issues

Lovely old house with lots of history - the host was incredible as well, dropping my friend and I into town so we didn't need to order a taxi. If I stay in Ennis again, I will definitely return. Nice room, quiet, lovely breakfast.

The property was in a very quiet spot, no noise from traffic etc and very “leafy” and calm. Also it was very close to the motorway so most convenient. A beautiful house, very interesting design.The bedrooms were very comfortable as were the beds. Wi-Fi was very efficient. I would certainly return to Knockaderry House.

Breakfast included a nice selection of fresh fruit and a lovely granola and yogurt combination. We also appreciated the thoughtfulness of the host for picking us up on our walk home from a dinner out because it had started to rain.

I liked everything except no public bathroom

This is a beautiful house and the hosts were wonderful. I would recommend having a car however. Jerry and Mary were wonderful in driving us into town and even the airport but a car would have been better. Highly recommend

This home has plenty of character. Lovely quiet location not far from Ennis (15/20 min walk). Comfy bed. Extra touches like spare toiletries. Lovely continental breakfast (chia bread, fresh scones, fresh berries, selection of nuts & seeds etc). Thought we might miss full Irish/eggs but we didn’t.

The parking was a bit difficult and finding the driveway was hard. We had to turn around many times.

The host was very gracious and helpful about best routes and places to eat and see. The food was amazing and home was beautiful.

One very small point, is that there's no TV in the otherwise very comfortable bedroom.

The owners, Gerry and Mary, are terrific hosts and their house has a very homely atmosphere. The continental breakfast is superb, with a great choice of cereals, scones and breads. Very spacious bathroom with a fantastic shower.

We can't praise Knockaderry House enough! This 19th-century gem has been meticulously restored, preserving its original features and oozing the charm and character of a bygone era. Gerry and Mary are exceptional hosts, epitomizing hospitality and going the extra mile for their guests.
