Top class service from Paula, communication was fantastic and she helped us so much with questions before we even left home, she couldn’t help us enough! Was such a lovely welcome in a beautiful sea view room, extra Fresh towels, glasses, nothing was too much trouble! The views are out of this world , and destination is perfect! Paula was a very gracious host. She was very nice and accomodating. The location is accessible and in close proximity to Portmagee village and Valentia Island. The en-suite was clean and warm. Bed was comfortable. Fully stocked toiletries, extra towels, water and hot drinks were also available in the room. Quiet during the night which was brilliant for a good sleep. My husband and I had the sauna and jacuzzi all to ourselves! Looking forward to going back to this place soon.

The property was excellent, better than expected with plenty of parking available and a short drive to town. It was quiet and comfortable. We loved the views too.

Absolutely Amazing experience from day one to day two. The Host Paula was extremely kind, informative and quick responding to my texts. On the arrival we were greeted by staff member Jane. Jane was a real sweetheart, very nice and helpful. There was everything you need for couple of nights: cozy room, comfortable bed, hot shower, kettle, tea&coffee, sauna, jacuzzi…. Great location, stunning views. Walking distance to Portmagee bridge and Bray Head… really enjoyed the stay and scenery. We hike a lot, so, this area is very nice and has great hiking trails.

Amazing flat in Portmagee. The place was renovated and quite clean. Really comfortable. I totally recommend to stay there while in Portmagee. At night we took the Jacuzzi, what a great experience in a cold night.

A perfect 10 out of 10. Paula is a super host! 😊 Our experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish! Paula was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She even upgraded us to a better and bigger apartment than we had originally booked. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered a good view. The location was ideal—close to Portmagee, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of, exceeding all expectations. And to top it all off, the outdoor jacuzzi under the starlit sky was the perfect way to end a long day.

The bedroom was initially too hot, but easily remedied by turning down the radiators. Very cosy house so not a complaint..

The jacuzzi was great fun. Location was grand for getting to Portmagee and Valentina island. Room and facilities.

Not dislikes but, kettle cable should have access to corner table. It was under area for hanging clothes. You do the location down a little with your explicit warnings as to distance from town. That should be blindingly obvious to anyone looking on the map. The location is isolated but splendid for that.

The bed was too loud. Fridge switching on and off wakes me up in the night. No hangers for the towels in the bathroom. Seriously small issues easy to fix :)

It was really clean in the room. The localization of the accommodation was perfect . Contact with the owner was perfect as well. Tea and coffee, fridge and microwave in the room. We arrived very late and there was no problem at all to arrange a late check in. Overall perfect and recommended.

It had a homely feel but it was like a hotel in a house. Amazing view of the water between the mainland and Valentia Island. The ginger biccys were delicious and having a kettle in the room was fantastic! The enuite and room was immaculate. I was so happy to be able to do the jacuzzi and sauna! After travelling for 5months arpund Europe, that relax was so energising and gave me more uplifting rest and energy to continue on with my journey! Cannot recommend the jacuzzi and sauna enough! And the fact you can, walk back up to your room afterwards is delightful!

My navigation system tried telling me to turn on to some farmers' tractor path into the middle of nowhere. Trust me, if you are on the main road, heading towards Portmagee, you will easily find this place, that has ample parking, on the main road.

I loved my sea view room. Paula, the owner has done an excellent job of providing tea and instant coffee in the room, as well as a power strip to plug in needed items. It was clean and quiet, with access to a small refrigerator to store last night's leftovers. Paula has printed off a list of nearby places to eat, the Fisherman's Platter at Portmagee's Fisherman's Bar is worth the cost, excellent!
