No fault of hotel, but men working right outside our window.

Staff were a little unfriendly at the start but warmed up by the end of our 4 day trip. Not much atmosphere in the hotel with a strange vibe we've never experienced before. Housekeeping seemed to be quite late and missed our room one of the days. No WiFi in our room either. Our room was out the back of the hotel so had a view of the generator and could hear the noisy boiler 24 hours a day. Would try and request a room at the front of the hotel.

Good food, warm and clean. Nice location in front of the harbour.

The double bed was two single beds joined together and where they joined was very uncomfortable to lay. Maybe a mattress topper would fix this.

We stayed in appartment 8, which we understand has been recently refurbished - presumably by someone tall. It needs the following: Grab rails to get in and out the shower plus non slip mat. The bath sides are unusually high and this is currently dangerous for short / less mobile people. Side plates. Towel rails / hooks on doors. Would also benefit from: Pictures / mirrors etc on walls. Cushions. Black out curtains A lower microwave - it’s so high it’s not really usable. There was no welcome pack - we usually find tea coffee milk biscuits and sometimes more when we stay in self catering. But here there is nothing.

Lovely view, comfy beds, convenient parking and clean appartment. It was quiet at night and we slept well. It’s generally well equipped for self catering.

There was a clothes moth in the room. Coffee was only okay. Also the bar downstairs does not have a huge selection of drinks. But these are small minuses, overall I would definitely stay there again.

Superb location. Restaurant / bar and breakfast room has amazing sea views. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Room was clean, had all necessities.

The bar area has no atmosphere. The seating is completely wrong for the hotel.

The new renovation is fantastic. The leasure centre is beautiful and so relaxing

The beds were old and outdated. Also they are portraying superior beds but all they are is to single beds together and joined together by the way of zipper so not terribly comfortable.

Only problem was the washing machine in the apartment wasn't working, but staff made their own machine available for us.

We had a great stay at this hotel, and particularly enjoyed having the apartment. We had the convenience of fixing our own meals and snacks and washing clothes, plus the added advantages of the facilities on-site like the swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Everything was lovely, clean and comfortable. Very convenient position in the town. Friendly and helpful staff. And the view was amazing!

The rain but it didn't stop us from travelling the local beauty spots.

We loved the perfect location, all the hotel staff were very polite and helpful, good quality food and the pool area was relaxing, we would definitely recommend a visit.
