Bathroom was small. The door banged agsinst the shower every time. Unfortunately the person in the room above woke up at 6am and them walking around woke me up. The sound deadening between floors was very bad.

Bed was comfortable. Room (aside from bathroom) was spacious Receptionist was friendly.

Issues with the heating system

Staff very friendly, professional and helpful. Access to pool and gym facilities. Very good buffet style breakfast. Super comfy bed in newly renovated room.

Public areas rather tired. Booking.com description leads you to believe this is a hotel spa reality it is more like a glorified pub full of white van men. Noisy security door in the corridor outside my room that banged every time someone used it. I did ask to change rooms but the hotel was fully occupied. Breakfast. Served in a room that resembled a canteen. When I got down to breakfast at 7.45 all that was left of the fried breakfast was two sad hash browns and a single slice of bacon. I settled for continental.

Staff not overly friendly. The room was clean. Very unorganised for breakfast as there was noone at the door to explain that there are 2 areas, one for guests and one for walk ins and we had joined the wrong queue. Bed was,comfortable and room spacious and clean

Bedroom very small. Floor slanted and mattress has seen better days, too soft.

Bar area nice, breakfast and lunch/dinner very good. Right in center of town. Only downside is carpark at back of hotel and you need to walk up hill to access. Pity not entrance to hotel from carpark via the health centre.

Bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Pub food in hotel was nothing to write home about. Had less than average steak quality for price paid. Parking in front to unload was impossible. Very busy one way street. Hotel staff not willing or available to keep unloading/loading spots in front open for guests.

In the heart of Mallow. Helpful staff. Popular bar / restaurant with lots of people coming for food, although we didn’t eat dinner here. Breakfast is buffet style and everything was good quality and piping hot.

Accessing the carpark from the hotel and visa versa. It was tricky and the signage was poor. Some of the staff weren't sure of how to navigate either.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We wanted to check in early as we needed to get ready for a wedding and the staff went out of their way to facilitate us. The carvery was excellent.

If you wanted to eat at the hotel in the evening you had to eat in the bar which was very noisy. The menu choices were quite limited, although the food was good.
