Parking is seperate from hotel, so difficult with bags.

Staff were friendly and although room was over a pub it was surprisingly quiet. Great to be able to go downstairs for a drink.

A unique spot for enjoying an old Irish pub and lodging!

It would have been nice to have had some warning about the music at night, both live and recorded. It definitely made it difficult to have a window open at night which we would have appreciated.

Jacob's Well is a unique place with an active pub on the ground floor and rooms upstairs. There was a bit of challenging noise from music being broadcast in the garden below but as everyone was inside, they were willing to turn it off which was a great support. However, there was live music in the bar from 10:30-12:30 at night and that was a test for sleeping. But we enjoyed the staff very much and the atmosphere was very friendly and the location perfect for getting to Glendalough and later Wicklow and Dublin.

The soundproofing of the house and that live music was also played into the night during the week.

The hosts were super nice, the location is great too. But you have to really like it. Our rooms overlooked the pub and the beer garden. There was always action in the evening, into the night, sometimes into the early hours of the morning. The house is unfortunately very noisy. Visiting a pub without driving is great. The food in the restaurant is really very good. The breakfast is freshly prepared and is tasty and sufficient. We can recommend it, but definitely pack earplugs ;o)

Jacobs well hotel is an amazing location. Great value for money and is in a great location to get to other activities in wicklow. The two young staff members working on Saturday the 2nd of september, serving evening meals, provided great service and we're very helpful. Morning staff serving breakfast were also very friendly and attentive. We would recommend this location to anyone. Brilliant hidden gem in wicklow.

Beautifully kept and welcoming. Staff were lovely and friendly. Beds very comfortable and loads of pillows. We ate both nights in the restaurant and the food was lovely. Very clean rooms and even entry and corridors. Room was lovely and good temperature. We had a ground floor room and it was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay there and would have no hesitation in staying there again and would recommend it. Parking is only a 2 minute walk away. You can park on the street but staff recommended that we use the car park and we did this.

We had 2 rooms booked for a group of 5 people. One room had tea and coffee making facilities but our room you had to go into a little kitten just outside the room to make tea, which we didn’t use as it would have been better in the room

The food was fantastic !! Incredible breakfast as much tea and coffee as you could drink
