How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Kitchen not very clean, not many parking spaces
The location is very good. Cleaninles was ok in the room and the bathroom. Place was quite. Stuff was helpful with accommodating last minute change

Staff seemed drunk or stoned but didn't have any issues with them. I was lucky to have a while dormitory room to myself. Had I not I would have felt pretty scared because some of the people staying there seemed dodgy. I went to go toilet during the night and a man was just standing at the end of the corridor looking down at me. The bed seemed clean and did the job, had a working socket. Great location. I wouldn't advise staying here alone unless it's the only option but my experience wasn't the worst.

The entry floor smelled like body odor and the general vibe as a solo female traveler made me not feel very safe unless I was in my room.
The location was great, 24 hour surveillance on all floors too.

The staff members were aggressive towards one another shouting about cleaning and arguing and swearing in front of guests. Made us feel very unsafe.

The shower was a disaster in the family room. There seemed to be no way to control the temperature so it started off cold and then ended very hot. It a mechanical, push-button, timer system so you have to push it frequently to keep the water flowing. I just about managed with the temperature as I was first to use it but my friend found it much too hot and unusable. There was some kind of yellow ink stain on the double bed sheet. The family room is right inside the entrance near the main desk and eating area and two arguing outside woke me early in the morning. We received only one keycard for the family room. No towels are provided but cost 3 euro to rent.
Location is central. Some staff were very pleasant and good humoured. Others were ok. The kitchen and eating area seemed reasonably clean. The double bed was comfortable. There is very limited parking but we took advantage of the free public car parking nearby - free in the morning until 11:30am.

My room was dirty specially the bed sheets their was stains and hairs didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there was booked for two day only stayed the first night

My mattress was very hard (I asked if it was the case of the others but no just mine), the people there were very noisy and sometimes strange (one of them came drunk in the room). I got the bed of the top : no "scale" to climb... And oh gosh the toilets smell pee. It is okay for one nights or two, for more it is complicate.
The showers are very clean.

Cleaner. The beds weren't too great and I'm not convinced the sheets were even fresh. Pillow (1) was ridiculous = had creak from it. Better shower and toilet facilities . Very open tbh . They are mixed which unusual tbh. Mixed would be OK if there was some space for peivacy.
It was convenient for the time with spacious kitchen. Although not very clean tbh, but with hostels it's expected to wash as you go ... Could cone and go to yse kitchen and dining room. The people / guests I met were what made it good experience. Hot showers.

It wasn’t very clean. The bed was uncomfortable.

Bathrooms smelled gross urine smell, the toilet paper was empty in a few stalls, door squeaked so you were constantly being disturbed, did not feel the bedding was clean. Poor ventilation in the room. We were not given emergency exit information and we did have a fire that night so we all could have died
