Facilities dated. The bed was like sleeping on a plank it was so hard!. The room I was in seemed more like a doss house than a hostel for travellers, which was a pity as it could be a fine facility with a little attention. 🤔

Bathroom was a bit moldy. And the room location did not allow for good fresh air, so I had a hard time speeding with how musty it felt. The small fan was not enough

There were only 2 wall-socket in a 6 bed room, should be for every bed, close to them. Constant machinery (water system? air ventilation? ) noise from outside all day exept 12pm-6am.

The hostel lacked certain necessities such as an oven and was very limited in bathroom facilities. I also had food that was stolen from the fridge.

A lovely location and a 24 hour check in was was available.

Accommodation was very basic, room was small for a family of 4 but we knew this from reading past reviews. No individual lights only main light so if a child went to sleep early then once that light was off had to use phone torch to see!!! Given a very flat pillow but at least bedding was clean. Bathroom very basic, no towels and shower mouldy. Kitchen wasn’t kept particularly clean. Food even though was labelled went missing and the fridge was full of rotten/off food & dirty. Not enough cutlery or cooking space/hobs for number of people staying. Washing up liquid was watered down and the towels to dry weren’t clean.

Beds were comfy & location was good for town and grocery store short walk away.

No brecky, the place was fine, perfect for passing through. It was hilariously bad, but I enjoyed it. I’d probably be back. The ultimate quirky hostel, if not a bit freaky, but in a good way. For the price, I’m just happy I had somewhere to go

The beds were basic and not very comfortable.

Fantastic location, very close to train and bus station and only a 5 minute walk into town. They have a luggage room so there is no problem leaving bags if you arrive before check in.

The bathroom was smelly. The kitchen was not clean: dirty fridges, only burned pans, 1 sink working over 2 for the entire hostel, kitchen cupboards containing abandoned food. Furthermore, we were woken up by the night receptionist who was speaking extremely loudly at 3.30 am. When I asked him to speak quieter he told me he would be long. He continued speaking loudly and didn't seem to feel sorry.

The hostel is well situated, there are plenty of tables to eat. There are lots of things to do around. The day receptionist was helpful.

The beds are very uncomfortable, no bedside lights, no plugs, showers were poor, the place is generally dirty. The light didn't work. It beat camping in the rain though and was cheaper than camping. Particularly annoying on the Friday night, night porter ignored insanely high noise levels. Was awake all night and the following day I was quickly dismissed and was told well tonight will probably be worse. It was comical.

Very noisy hostel, you can literally understand a conversation in the room next door. There have been works with drills in the corridor starting as soon as 8 AM and lasting all day long during my stay. I understand that facilities always need maintenance, but why the hell has it to start so early? You have to PAY to put your luggage in safety, first time for me after ten hostels or so booked over a few years across Europe. And then there is that everlasting fat smell in the kitchen...
