Walls are like paper, you hear every noise in other rooms, it's impossible to get a decent sleep. Also, the staff treat you like a child, extremely condescending.

1 Room was different from what was booked. 2 night staff could be heard talking all night. 3 moving furniture very loudly . 4 staff shouting at other person 6 light curtains ,I can see night staff getting his bicycle after his shift outside my room window

Smells badly. No warm water in shower. Dirty . The chargers are in not convenient places. A lot of drunk and noisy people. It's so expensive for these conditions ...

The room was cold, the bedsheets and pillows,duvets of very poor quality. 60e per room was too expensive for a hostel offering very little in regards to a comfortable bed and pillow. I've stayed in hostels abroad that were much cheaper but way better quality. The price of the room should be about 15e and even that's a stretch. 20e deposit per person is required in case you break anything, There is actually nothing in the room so i don't know what that deposit is required for . The staff are nice, that's probably the best thing about this hostel Parking is also very limited

It was crazy loud from 3 o'clock onwards out room was off the kitchen area and there wa people partying in there all night long. Sheets need to be update very old fashioned and could do with being updated.

The bunk beds had no ladder to get to the top bunk. I had to step on the bottom bed to get to the top bed. Coming down meant that all I could do was slip off the top bunk and land on the ground.

It was really close to Killarney town centre! Probably no more than a three minute walk.

The toilet smelt like pee and there was chocolate squashed on the duvet cover, which makes me wonder if either had been cleaned/washed. I still think that soap and a hand towel should be provided when you have an en suite. The beds were lumpy and the pillows were flat. The shower heat settings were round the wrong way. Blue for hot, red for cold.

The room was much better than last time 🙂 There was a ladder for the bunk bed and the curtains weren't hanging off of the rail. It was reasonably priced especially when other places put up their prices just because it was for New Years.

Noise during the night from people coming in from pub at 3am needs to b sorted out . Night man should b around at night especially up stairs no cameras at all in hostel that needs sorting.

I would not come back…. we stayed in a four bed room two couples and had a group of 12 young guys in the room next to us and another across the hall. before 5pm they were all shouting walking around in there underwear in the halls between rooms and playing music off a speaker! we mentioned to the receptionist, at 3am they all came in shouting and sounded like they were playing hockey in the room they were so loud we could not sleep had to go to the receptionist again and he came up telling them to be quiet. but sure then at 4am a group of girls came in banging doors screaming a girls name and trying to get into the lads room. I understand a hostel is going to be a bit loud but this was just crazy, two of my friends had to go for a walk at 4am because they couldn’t sleep with them and sat in the car for most the night for any change to get some sleep. i have never been so disappointed in a place

I've stayed in a lot of places and never felt the need to write a review, I'm really not a fussy person, but I am doing so now just to help people avoid this place. The staff were rude. The lady at reception has no manners at all. Don't care to go into detail. Seems to be a lot of homeless people or heroin addicts being accommodated there so if you do decide to stay in this place DO NOT get a dorm bed. The sheets and beds are dirty and the room smells to the point of it being difficult to sleep.. I think it's anti-mould paint or bleach or something. It's rotten. I booked a private room and honestly didn't even feel safe leaving my belongings in there, I left them in my car before I went into the town, but If you book a dorm room or travelled by train, god help you. I paid 60 euro.. cheapest place in Killarney for the day I needed to be there but hardly worth 10 euro even. Just do yourself a favour and pay a bit more for literally anywhere else. There are about 4 or 5 parking spaces and if they are full they are not going to help you. I think this place should be closed down.
