How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

No bag in the bin which hadn’t been emptied from the previous occupant so was all over the floor Didn’t provide shower gel as they had run out. These were minor things and wouldn’t stop me returning.
Great location. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room is decorated to a rally high standard. Wetroom is great and shower fabulous, bed is comfortable. Would stay again

Couches in living room area were quite grubby.
Location. View…we were on top floor overlooking city. All rooms en-suites. Good kitchen facilities. Had an issue with 1 bedroom door not opening. Guy fixed it straight away. Staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again

Almost nothing to cook in the kitchen, beds a little bit ruff.

The only thing I can fault on was the Cark Park situation, as we parked in the euro car park up the street, and the Cark park located to them is Q park, which we then moved the car to for the night. Lee Point validated the ticket but when we got to the car park we were charged €13. It was more so the location of the car park when dragging bags but it is student accommodation which Im sure alot probably don't drive while in the city.
4 of us stayed here on July 1st 2022, as we where in Cork for the Elton John concert. The location was perfect walking distance to everything. Overall great stay, friendly helpful staff great location was perfect for one night stay as we wernt in the room much.

No hand-soap provided in bedrooms. Basic requirement especially with Covid-19
Great location in the centre of Cork city. Rooms were comfortable and lots of storage. Nice modern en-suite bathroom. And full kitchen if you want to cook.

as it’s studio Appartments one can overlook somethings but for €200 for the night some complimentary soap, shampoo, gel etc should be a given

Lots of noise and loud conversations cleaning staff, regularity of cleaning and taking out trash and no limit to noise after 10:00pm. The mattress in the room was terrible, you could feel the de structure and the deformation of time of use.

Noisy - woken up at 4am both nights we stayed. Need to bring shower gel/shampoo/soap.

Rooms were way too stuffy no air con available and window only opened a tiny bit so the room felt very suffocating. I understand the window is for security but the room at least needs a fan.

There was some noise from parties at night - but that's to be expected in student accommodation!
I was very impressed at the level of cleanliness and how modern the apartment was. The room was in a great location and felt safe and secure.

Sounds from the nightclubs and pubs nearby were a little bit of an issue, but not the fault of Lee Point itself, just something that I would keep in mind next time I stayed.
Clean and modern location, friendly staff. Rooms felt secure, very little sound travels in the apartments themselves. Surprisingly nice views depending on where your room is. En suite is roomy, beds are comfortable, WiFi is fast. Excellent value for money.

For the money, I would have expected some (Basic) toilet / show bits like small shampoo etc. You would get this in another place of same price. Also, window only opens a tiny bit so room got very warm and no way to cool it down that I could see.
