Hasn’t got that community feel that other hostels have. Not the hostels fault but had some very inconsiderate hostel roommates - speaking on speaker phone late into the night even after being approached kindly and with care. I actually checked out a day early to try and get some proper sleep. Shower facilities were quite poor and neglected, could do with a makeover into proper cubicles instead of the flimsy and untrusting shower curtain.

Location was good. Check in easy, staff nice. Quirky in an old church but loved the character.

When I got there, there was a long wait to get checked in. I had to leave my bag and come back at night. Not the fault of the desk staff, I think the owners were just not prepared for the number of people on the day. It's not too cheap but nowhere is cheap anymore.

Good location. Small bit of a walk to Parnell St. The beds are great, lots of privacy in your own bunk unit. There's plenty of room and all light can be blocked off. Clean. Plenty of toilets and showers.

It is a little bit far from the center in terms of places and restaurants.

The bed bunks are little cabins that allow for privacy in the dorm rooms. The staff was super friendly and helped me switch bunk beds when the first one I got had issues

A fair bit of older people- not a problem but I expected more a young hostel vibe.... Often old men in the common areas so not a vibe to hang out in.

I really liked the location (although was about 15 min walk to centre), felt safe and simple to navigate. Staff were helpful with check in and bag drop etc. The room was quite spacious for 8 people which was a bonus- the beds nice and private too.

I didn't wish to leave a review, but so persistent! Maybe it is booking.com that is so insistent. The location was further out that I had hoped. The number of communications I received were overwhelming. Too many automatic texts and emails.

It was acceptable, and I would stay again if I needed to, and there were not many affordable options.

Difficult to find with no signage on the outside.

It was cold-the heater was off, the tiny portable heater didn’t really heat up the room. There were 2 of us on a 6 bed dorm (3 double bunk pods) no need to put us in same bunk pods, more privacy would have been appreciated as the other girl was getting up at 6:20am Also no free towels which is a big minus.

The wooden frame bed pods, They don't do any justice for the presentation. Instead, it makes it more of a hazard when getting in and out of bed at night to go to the toilet at night. Price wise was a little on the high side, and they receptionist was a bit rude and unmanned during a short period of time.
