I am female and I booked female room but they put me male ‘s room I did not know that. Untill I saw man getting in my room. I was feeling uncomfortable during the night. I woke up mid-night and I saw man getting my room. It was nightmare to me I Can not breathe at all. I was in shocked . Be carefull

The management should do better on the receipt. I always use booking app to book and I went to the reception for receipt and I was told I have to wait 15 working days to get receipt. That’s the only constraint and would be the reason why I’ll stop using the hostel unless I can get my receipt immediately I get to reception once my payment is confirmed on booking.

It is way overpriced for what you get. I have stayed in nice hostels that only cost €15/€20 per night. The bed wasn’t made and sheets hadn’t been washed in god knows how long. The bedding was itchy. All of the bathrooms on my floor were locked. Be warned that the hostel is not in a very safe location.

There was too little access to natural light from the window from the point of my bed and I think my locker was broken.

The Leevin Hostel George service was good value for money! The staff was really kind and willing to help when encountering problems. I saw that the bathrooms were often cleaned so that's a huge plus.

The lock on the box was broken, it took 2 days to fix it. a little stuffy inside the “capsule”

The Leevin Hostel was clean, centrally located, and private (there are curtains on the beds.) I actually walked to and from the hostel from the airport which was great exercise and took about two hours and thirty minutes. I overall recommend this hostel!

For the night we spend, everything was great.

The location is great (central Dublin), the hostel is great, with big communal rooms, and the bedrooms are good, we had a great night.

- No elevator - Stifling heat - Beds enclosed in wood, resembling coffins more than beds – a nightmare for those suffering from claustrophobia - Bathrooms are of very low standard and insufficient in number relative to the number of beds - Yellow wristbands that guests must wear, which are difficult to remove - Bed bugs - No response from management – I emailed with a complaint and a request for a refund and received no reply - The photos on Booking.com do not reflect reality at all - The price, although seemingly low for Dublin, is not adequate for this accommodation – it’s better to pay 50% more and get something of decent quality I am very disappointed with this hostel and do not recommend it to anyone. The photos and description on the website are misleading, and the quality of the accommodation is far below acceptable standards.

The location is situated well. Busses ,trams easly available to get were your going. Great team staff from front desk to cleaners positively Leevin ☺️ also kitchen available were warm water and were food can be heated or stored away. Clean shower rooms/ toilets. With the beds curtains are installed so you sleep in darkness /privey were you can charge you phone device.

The Internet doesn't work very well in the kitchen and in that area I was unable to connect my phone to the WiFi. That's the only thing that I didn't like.

This hostel was amazing, I loved because the beds are covered individually and you feel with more privacy. The locker is inside where the bed is located which I liked. Another thing is that I was able to charge my phone using a USB cable because the plug had that option which is very helpful because my charger is a type C and in Dublin, they use a different one. The kitchen is big and I was able to cook my own food and the location for the hostel is super close to downtown.

The most disturbing fact was the lack of cleanliness under the bed. 5 days into my trip, I lifted my mattress to fix my sheet and was shocked to find accumulated dust, dirt, used wipes, food packages, pills, a fork, and other garbage. It seemed as though this area hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time (see photos). When I informed the receptionist about this issue, he seemed totally indifferent and simply said he would send someone to clean. Didn't really seem to care about the fact that I was sleeping above a pile of rubbish and dirt for 5 days or that this is definitely an ongoing issue with all ground beds. The cleaning lady though was sent quickly to my room and cleaned. Then for the next 2 days they kept deactivating my room card throughout the day, which forced me to go up and down the 2 floor stairs, as their way to make me go by the reception so they could ask me remove my Google review. Total nonsense! 2) The public spaces, especially the bathrooms and showers, were not clean. There was a noticeable smell, leaky pipes, and humid bath mats that had mold. 3) The hostel was significantly downgraded compared to the photos shared online, which was disappointing. Do yourself a favor and opt for a different one, unless you’re keen on experiencing ground zero for the next pandemic.

Hostel is well connected to the city. The beds are also well isolated, providing quite a sense of privacy
