Relaxed, friendly, comfortable

Our room got very cold in the night, but we did use the extra blankets to keep warm.

We were staying in the room at the front of the building, which had outstanding views of the cliffs near Minaun Heights. The room was huge and we had plenty of space to organise our belongings! Breakfast was included in our booking, and even with our early check out, they provided us with a small basket of bread and fruits. The attached pub had excellent food, and was lively, but you could not hear the noise in the rooms quarter at all (good sound proofing maybe?). Our car was parked across the street, and with street lights nearby, it felt secure.

Small cozy & comfortable room. Very nice & comfortable bed. Very good heating. Hot water throughout the day. Few minutes away from Keel Beach and few minutes drive from other beaches around the Island. Excellent breakfast and lovely staff. Small restaurant and the food was awesome.

The rooms are in need of updating,small, and tired. The bathroom needs an overhaul. Website photography did not match reality.

It is a beautiful place, beautiful location. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Although dog friendly had to keep dog in room when eating which is common..but we were able to bring her into Ted's bar for dinner as she was unsettled the first evening when alone..she's not used to hearing the sheep outside 😀 would have loved tea/ coffee facilitates in the room !

Loved the location ..beautiful views! We had our small dog with us so had private entrance which was very handy..room was lovely and beds were very comfortable! Breakfast was delicious also..would stay again if in area!

Location and view superb! Staff we met were super efficient and extremely friendly but also really professional, couldn’t do enough for us extremely charming. The food was extremely tasty both dinner and breakfast. I highly recommend eating there

The room was nice and clean but I would have appreciated some storage space, a small table or desk to sit at, and a flat surface somewhere in the bathroom to put my things. The shower pressure was excellent but it took about five minutes for the water to get hot (apparently because of the distance from the water tanks). The lake view was fine but it was also a front-of-property car park view so I'd consider a different room next time - the views are great in every direction! That said, it was a nice large room.

The staff were nice and helpful, the breakfast was lovely, and the restaurant was also great - I had no problems as a vegetarian and I was impressed by the availability of gluten free options also.

could have cleaned our room - we stayed 4 nights and sand was everywhere after 2. Room was adequate without being fantastic, big enough just for a family of 4

My room was not all that clean and the hallway was pretty noisy at times.

Great location in the heart of Achill Island. Lovely scenery at the foot of Slievemore. Excellent food, both for breakfast (French Toast) and dinner (I'd recommend the Fish&Chips!). Staff was very accommodating and friendly!

The weather was rather cool in the evenings and one of the evenings it had rained a lot so we were damp, it would be nice if the heating just came on for an hour to take the chill out of the air, it would add to the comfort

There could be better storage in the rooms, and tea making facilities would be nice in the rooms but overall I was happy with the accommodation

The staff were excellent, super friendly and accommodating and the food was fantastic. I have no complaints and I’d highly recommend staying here for the atmosphere
