How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We couldn't use our TV as the remote must have ran out of batteries, which was unfortunate as my partner and I were looking forward to relaxing and watching some shows however we did have great entertainment when a band was playing that night.
The staff are wonderful in pvs and always have manners. They are inviting and friendly, instantly making you feel comfortable in the hotel.

Don't stay here unless you like sleeping inside a nightclub beside the speaker as its blasting out at its highest volume! the room vibrates with the music! no sleep to be got in this room last night, absolute lies being 4+stars and waste of money! we had huge headaches this morning, fed up and wrecked when we left the room, drunk people constantly parading the corridor all night long outside our room as well. When we went for food, the staff sat us on front of the front door on a tall table for 2 and wouldn't allow us to move to a regular table because it was just two of us so everytime someone came in there was a draft and when our food arrived, we looked around to see many couples sitting at tables for 4, we hated our stay here and wish we had stayed somewhere else, this place is solid 2 stars at best but our stay was 1 star, this is a nightclub with few rooms in it, not a hotel!

Food stops at 7.30!!!! Our room was located over industrial fans which were too loud, smell of food was terrible, Room was so hot, we had to leave window opened....

Too noisy. Hotel is also a Night Club!! Music can be VERY LOUD. Needs to decide whether it wants to be an Hotel or Nightclub

Stayed on a Saturday evening with my 80 year old mum and aunt. The noise from the nightclub is horrific, can’t get to sleep until 1.30.

Breakfast not included or available at the premises although there was a good facility close by. Room was at the front of the building so early morning traffic noise was not ideal.
Location was convenient / Rooms were satisfactory though small As accommodation was above a pub it was very convenient for food/ drinks in the evening

The window didn’t close properly, and sound was very audible from the street (late night revellers, street cleaning machines). Extractor fan not working in the en suite.
Great location, very clean, and excellent staff, who were really helpful. I had a bike with me and they were happy to store it safely in the back.

The bathroom had a couple of bugs and the noise from the bar at the weekend keep in mind stops at 12 am

Booked last week for my partner's birthday paid by card all great running late rang pvs said running late would be an hour that's no problem the room is here well.. got in to collect key only to find out because of my last name and ima traveller I was handed my money saying booking.com got it wrong which is lies still upset in the middle of what im been told is a case

The noise would recommend staying during the week if you're not prepared to be exposed to the noise from the night club revellers on the street.
The rooms are lovely and spacious. The food in the bar is nice and was delivered with excellent customer service

The smell of smoke as we were coming into the room, obviously coming from downstairs! The room.was really warm. The fire alarm going off at 3:58am was the pitts!

The night club on the ground floor was still rather loud even on the top floor - similar to a subsequent hotel we used but they provided ear plugs.

To be honest, I'd be nit picking a little, but some things that were less that optimal - There's no breakfast included, which at this price point was disappointing. Also, the initial checkin felt a little clumsy. You walk into a bar / restaurant that's serving food and it wasn't immediately obvious you checked in there.
It was clean and comfortable. There is a private access door to the room which meant once you had your key you didn't need to go through the bar. It's an excellent choice location wise. It's basic, but does the job!

The noise from the bar was unbearable so I didn’t stay and checked out. Tried to contact the manager and staff but no one came back to me. Had a better sleep on my friend’s couch for the night. They should consider adding ear plugs for each room.
The room itself was very nicely decorated.
