10 minute walk including two lifts to our room from the lobby, a door to a balcony we could not use, as well as one very flat pillow

Fabulous hotel so close around corner from train station was really handy and only 5 min walk to Christmas markets and Eyre Square for shopping, enjoyed food, unfortunately Spa booked out but pool open so enjoyed it

The service was very slow at the on-site bar. We also needed to ask for water for the table three times before it arrived. The food was a little bland for the price. These were only minor things though.

Excellent location and convenient parking. Good sized rooms. Room facilities were very good. Reception staff were excellent. The breakfast was excellent.

Fabulous property within 5 minutes walk to the centre. The breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of options. The rooms are spacious and we had a king size bed which was enormous.

The air conditioning came on of its own accord during the night even though it was powered off (or so, I thought). Lifts are incredibly slow at going up or down, so I took the stairs most of the time as my room was on the first floor. If it was on a higher floor, it would have been very irritating.

Layout of hotel was very difficult. Needs better signage and lighting to show routes to reception, lifts and stairs. Wouldn’t like to be in hotel if I needed to get out quickly.

Breakfast was good. Just no one came round asking if I wanted tea or coffee, I was told they would after I was seated. Some of the buffet trays were empty, and they weren't checked that regularly, so they didn't get refilled while I was at breakfast. However, the selection was large, so it didn't really bother me.

The hotel had a nice lobby, a good size room, and was comfortable. Large selection for breakfast, which was a buffet. Good facilities.

Bar Staff were poor, we ordered two Irish coffee's in the evening time & were told the coffee machine was cleaned for the day ! Think it's unfair to have to pay for the parking, when already paying enough for Hotel Stay.

Lovely Hotel. Reception Staff are so friendly. So convenient especially for this time of year for the Christmas Markets.

The only slight issue was our room was a bit far away from facilities in the hotel and a bit confusing to find but this is a very minor issue

Very modern and clean hotel within walking distance to the city centre. There was also a young women member of staff working reception who was so inviting and more than willing to help with any queries we had regarding parking, food etc. I didn’t get her name but she had an American accent and she definitely should be commended for her service
