Although the rooms were minimal and we were in very close quarters, the beds were very comfy and everything was very clean. Overall we had an amazing time there and the vibe of the place made our getaway. Great for any type of stay.

The showers could be better. Didn’t have any family shower to bring my son together and be able to clean him properly.

4 showers coed and very cold in our room, we found out in the morning, electrical problem. without electrical problem, the Rainbow hostel is great.

Unfortunately one of the toilets did not work. It was a pleasant inexpensive place to stay with no frills.

It was pretty cold the whole time and the heating didn't work. I booked a single room and there was really nothing in there. If there were just a couple of things changed, it could be a lot more comfortable (like towels to dry your hands after using the toilets). There was nothing to put your stuff on in the showers except for two hooks. After all it's a hostel though and you can definitely stay there and have a good time.

It's just a short walk to Dingle and you got a great view on the way. The bed was very comfortable and everybody was really nice. I didn't use the kitchen, but from what i've seen it looked good. Was pretty big and seemed to have everything you need.

The showers weren't too good - you had to brave the cold water to press the button several times before getting hot water. Nowhere to put things - very basic. Could have done with plugs in the sinks to wash clothes, and a couple of hand dryers in the toilets.

Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Well equipped kitchen. Interesting people from all parts of the world. Allowed dogs - family atmosphere. Comfortable beds and nice rooms - definitely a good base for exploring Dingle peninsular.

The mattress in our private double room really needs updating as it wasn’t very comfortable. Showers are mixed gender (not usually a problem with us), however the doors aren’t full length, so it was a little uncomfortable in a busy hostel.

Friendly and caring staff, Phil (I think!) was very helpful and ensured we had a comfortable stay, despite other guests making too much noise on our first night. Great location and facilities, wifi also worked well in our room and common areas. The hostel also has a big outdoor seating area at the back and plenty of space for campers. We liked that it attracted a travellers crowd rather than partners.

The hostel gets loud when it is full and there are children running around, that only happened later in the evening. The bathroom and the shower room is all co-ed so that may not be something everyone is comfortable with.

This hostel is in a quiet and beautiful setting! The welcoming staff was friendly, the hostel is spacious with many spots to hang out. Our room was for 3 people so it was plenty spacious and was located on the backside so generally quiet.
