Stayed in a ensuite room. Good value for money. Comfortable bed. Nice dining room with good kitchen facilities. Self check in and out. I'll definitely stay again. Short drive to Ballinskellig beach.

Ireland30 reviews3 helpful votesGoodVery dated. Thin walls, squeaky floors and door handles, its impossible to be quiet there, so with that many people staying all you hear is noise. We were able to hear everything. Our room was above the kitchen, so if you like to sleep in, you can forget about it. Definitely recommend bringing earplugs if you stay there. Very uncomfortable pillows. We were lucky we had our own.
Very easy communication, great location, well equipt kitchen.

The only issues we had, was the bed was a little uncomfortable due to the mattress quality. I’d recommend bringing your own pillow if you need neck support as pillows thin. But none of these issues would stop us returning….
The location of the property was excellent, the cleanliness was exceptional considering we were at the peak of season. The kitchen was well stocked.

This was the first time we stayed in a hostel. It was an amazing experience. The accommodation was simple but adequate, super clean and very well organised. Loved the way they had a self checkin but always left a number for contact.

Really good value for the money. Nice beach down the road. The staff were nice and friendly. It has a small snooker table and few board games - well thought.

it was a great place to meet other travellers. I gave my children a hostel experience rather than staying at Airbnb

I was the first to go to the shower and thank goodness I did it was absolutely roasting and would have caused a burn if anyone had tried to use it. There was no cold water going to the shower at all. I reported it and no plumber till the day we checked out.
I love this hostel. We have stayed here a good few times now. The location is fantastic and it is good value for money
