no curtains and no single gender room. that’s a bit inconvenient. the bed near the bathroom at the top floor may get noise from the water tank.

it was very clean and welcoming. good location and bed. room has no bad smells. bathroom is also very clean.

No lockers and no shelves/bedside lamps.

Very nice place to stay in Dingle. Just a few hundred meters from all the main pubs and restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and warm. Loved it, hope to come back one day!

The staff were amazing and super friendly! They gave us a warm welcome and it was clear that they genuinely care about their guests. They also gave us recommendations for food spots in town and even gave us different travel routes/ hike trails to follow during our stay in Dingle for St. Patrick's weekend. When leaving the hostel to go to our restaurant booking in Danno's Restaurant & Bar, staff even shared their favourite dishes, notably the smoked salmon risotto....which was amazing btw!!! The beds were super comfy and the warm shower was great! Can't find better....especially not for the same price! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable stay in The Grapevine Hotel and will definitely be using it again upon our return to Dingle!

Bedlinen was old. Carpets worn. Bathroom was old and unpleasant. Top bunk was like climbing everest to get into. Upgrade badly needed. Expensive with below par facilities.

Every thing are okay, the staffs are very confused, looks like nobody don’t know any information. The guy are so rude, we wake up at 8:30 am to check out and we didn’t saw any staff in commum areas we call to someone and he ask me to knock the door. We know many times and nobody answer, at the final he wake up and at that moment he was rude with us. We was just waiting to get back our deposit. And come on guys 30 euros EACH person for deposit? At this time we was 30 minutes late.

The bed was really springy and the bathroom had some cracking and paint peelling walls.

This is important. The hostel has zero safety features. No keys for the room doors they are left open and no lockers at all in rooms. Incredible in a modern day hostel. You simply need lockers or security deposit boxes. Also the hostel can be very cold with heating off which it ALWAYS is. If they introduced lockers for possessions and actually turned on the heating (even once!) It would greatly improve the Hostel. Dingle despite being beautiful is beside the ocean and does get cold so returning from the cold to a freezing cold hostel is far from ideal!
