Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandI liked the location, very close to the 3 Arena, beside the river and close to a Luas stop. The bed was very comfortable but the person on the inside could not get out on their side as it was right beside the window. Also there was no room on that side of the bed to have a locker for my water bottle and phone.

IrelandPerfect location for the 3Arena, staff were all so nice and we enjoyed the pool and sauna in the morning. Room was very small, bed was uncomfortable and we were woken by construction outside the window at 7am very loud and impossible to sleep through. Wish we would have been told this at check in.

IrelandRooms were under the kitchen on the sixth floor, so a smell leaked in - either from the sewerage, or gas, or something like that.
Rooftop kitchen is fantastic. Compact but comfy. Coffee maker in room was nice.

Irelandi really do not like that there is no food available after 10pm which is when I would usually arrive, This means that I do not stay here as often as I would like. surely they can have some basic night service.

United KingdomNo wardrobe in the room, but I fail to see were they would actually put a wardrobe in the rooms so I understand why
A really lovely property, such a nice boutique type hotel with such a nice vibe in the whole hotel. Lobby area was super nice, coffee shop in the lobby and the first of the restaurants downstairs, we dined there on a Saturday night they managed to fit us in even though it was fully booked. Super lovely food. Second restaurant on 6th floor had a look at the restaurant didn’t dine, looked lovely. A Irish style bar was attached to the hotel which was lovely. Room was gorgeous, had a smeg fringe in the room filled with all sorts of goodies, only downside was no wardrobe or space to store clothes/bags. The pool/sauna/steam room was incredible, such a lovely place made me think I was abroad somewhere on holiday. Would recommend the hotel to anyone!!

IrelandI didnt like the way I was over-charged for the date that I stayed in the hotel. I had to change the date to a day earlier and the offer was over €100 less for the new date, but I was charged at the original cost of over €250. FOr that reason I won't stay in the Mayson again. Although my review will show what was positive about the staff and facilities.

IrelandThe food could have been better. We ate in the restaurant downstairs and I found it to be quite greasy. The following morning we paid for the breakfast in the rooftop restaurant, the menu was good but unfortunately my meal was only luke warm.
We stayed at the mayson as we were attending a concert in the 3 Arena so the location was perfect. The Luas is just around the corner also. The vibe is really good in the hotel, I liked that you could relax with a coffee or indulge in a cocktail in the dining area or simply nip next door to the pub! The room was cosy and had everything you need, shower pressure was really good also. Our room was front facing but we heard no traffic. I would have loved to take advantage of the gym/sauna but didn’t realise the facilities were there!

United KingdomThe location is a little far out, the walk is about 20/25 minute walk to town. On a nice day this isn't a problem but in the rain isn't ideal.
Hotel was great. Facilities were great, staff were lovely too. The interior deco was fab felt really luxury for the price. The bar and restaurant were great and super convenient to have onsite.

FranceThe room is really small and the view of a construction site is ugly. The curtains do not block the light so in the morning you get up too early. They charged me 187 for dinner when we had just had a few bites (28 euros). Thankfully Jenny was super proactive and was able to find the issue/mistake quickly.
The place has a cool vibe. The restaurant is good and the staff are excellent

United KingdomNothing at all - very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.
Really lovely hotel - stylish, modern and in a great location - very close to 3arena and only about 20 mins walk from Connolly station. We got upgraded to a suite and absolutely loved it, especially the bath!! We ate at the rooftop restaurant and it was very tasty, albeit a little on the expensive side.
