The entire hotel smells like cigarettes. Rooms are below ground level, with closed windows. It feels like you are inside a giant ashtray. My wife is pregnant - we could not stay there for a minute. As soon as we arrived, we left - it was unbearable. The owner did not want to refund our single night stay even when we explained the situation. Will not recommend to anyone.

This is a terrible hotel, and the booking.com amenity descriptions don't match the reality. There is no garden, or views of any kind. The "terrace" is in a tiny inside courtyard covered in dog and bird poop. We booked a double bedded room (for 2 people) and were given a single bed. Owner insisted by phone we booked a single room, even though I read him the precise bed size promised in our confirmation. He didn't care. Room was also smaller than advertised. A closet, basically. Sink did not drain, owner said he'd fix it and didn't. Shower handle broken. No one was around to store our luggage at 11:30 even though we were told there would be someone around to do so. Wasted an hour. The hotel is barely staffed -- employees are almost never around. Public areas dirty, unkept and in poor repair. Fire alarm went off at 2 am. waking us up for an hour as the firemen checked the scene. A club next door plays loud music at night that you hear in the hotel. The whole thing felt like a scam. There's no way this hotel can be rated 8+. All my fellow guests were equally unhappy with the conditions. Something is very wrong here. I've never had a hotel experience this bad, and certainly not on booking.com.

Great location ! In a quiet street off Jaffa Road, near the center and just a few minutes away from the old city. Very clean and comfy at an affordable price. I will definitely stay there again !

The towels had hair on them, the bedsheets some stains but none of them was smelly or anything similar. The could have checked the bathroom essentials during our staying there cause we run out of soap and shower gel.

The location is super..very close to the old town (walking distance approximately 10-15’), lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Tram station 3’ walking. Although there is no reception etc. on the spot we had an excele communication with the owner and they were very helpful and always answered asap. The room is quiet comfortable and a huge plus was the anatomic pillow.

the kitchen / pantry area. I just hope the cleanliness can be improved but otherwise it’s fine. coffee, tea, sugar, cups and spoons were readily available. nespresso coffee machine needs serious cleaning though I understand that probably not too many guests are using it.

location was perfect. close to shops and transport. self check-in process was easy. very accommodating host/owner.

its in the heart of jaffa street where shops and restaurants are located. we were lucky that we stayed in this property and there was a street celebration (independence day) we enjoyed it plus the cold weather of jerusalem was awesome also there is rixos bar right next to the entrance door. its quiet you can really rest or relax and its clean. indeed a very nice location will definitely go back and check in again to this property. great value for money.

Overall it was a terrible stay. I come visit family in Jerusalem once in a while and this is now my third stay at this hotel. The first two we’re great stays. today i paid the same price as always and the room that i got was a huge downgrade. There were stains on the walls the bed wasn’t made and stains on the sheets. And more importantly the TV did not work at all. I was very upset and contacted the hotel manager but he was of zero help. I ended up booking somewhere else late at night and sleeping elsewhere. I gotta say i’m very disappointed because this is my third time at this place and I will never go back
