Great location to the city! Staff on Friday pm was exceptional, however staff on Saturday was not. THe room was so comfortable & clean! I would stay there again!

Israel49 reviews8 helpful votes“Average”During the night and in the morning we didn't have hot water in the shower, we spoke about it to the receptionist and he simply said that on Saturday (Shabbat) he has nothing to do so basically we couldn't have a shower. Also, there was a kettle but no tea, sugar or anything else. The hotel is positioning itself as a boutique hotel but there are no wine glasses, no iron in the room, and a double bed is not really double, just 2 singles bed are covered with a blanket, inconvenient and absolutely not reliable to the "real" boutique hotel.
The first and foremost - is the location. Explicable, close to the main city sites and Mamila Mall. The Staff, especially the lady at the reception desk was extremely nice. The coffee machine is a nice addition to the room.

Unloading or loading suitcases from and to the car is a little bit problematic . They would also need to have an agreement with a parking lot in the area to leave the car.
Crew is very friendly. This boutique hotel is brand new and beautifully decorated. Got a spacious and comfortable room with enough space to work and have meals there. Location couldn't be better ! We stayed for Shabbat and the owners left hot water , coffee, tea and cakes at the entrance. They kept it clean and neat at all times.

We got a room close to the lobby, so we could hear what's going on in the lobby. But it's a new hotel, and the staff was very attentive and said they will fix the door sealing.
The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location is great - close to the center and to the cinematheque. Everything is in a walking distance. The staff was super nice and tried to do their best to help us with any need.

Israel19 reviews3 helpful votesPoorWe recently chose to stay at The David Story Boutique Hotel because of its high cleanliness rating. The property is neither boutique nor a hotel. There is an unpleasant smell of sewerage as you enter the building. The bathroom had mold in the shower. We were moved to a different room. Unfortunately, the second shower still had grime and did not drain properly, causing water to accumulate. Overall, our stay was very disappointing and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel experience.
