Quite pricey for a 3-4 star property. Felt a little too secluded.

Nice grounds and fantastic lake views. The support staff were fantastic.

Laundry they turned my white suit to pink which was harrowing for me as I brought it in India and did my mothers last rites whilst in Delhi- I have sent email to owners about them replacing the damaged clothing as they can’t do anything for the hurt and pain caused to me by destroying a memory of my spiritual homage to my late mother. Tuktuk was suggested for day trip which was a mistake as it took longer and on the way back we had to stop 4 times as the radiator was over heating- the driver was lovely but as I knew i wouldn’t be able to get food at the venue late I had to get some food to take back and given the stop start journey back I was shattered the next day. Tuktuk is okay for short journey otherwise car is better plus they can park in the tourist spots.

The views were stunning and enjoyed the massage and eating food brought to the veranda- staff were friendly and helpful

Upon arrival the sheets and towels were stained and appeared to be unwashed. Didn’t feel like a clean room.

We are 2 couples with 3 toddlers 1. Services - Before reaching we got message from manager to confirm us dinner on phone by 6:30pm so that they will prepare it, they only want to serve us dinner just by 8 Pm, i suggest 9:30 so manager said, we should have dinner outside as they won't be served us, we were travelling from munnar with 3 toddlers we were late from traveling and don't want to have dinner by 7:30 and want to reach our hotel first to fresh up. The check in took forever and they put all the bags in reception area, later we pick our bags and went to our room. Food - Dinner- little to no flexibility we have Three 3 year old toddlers, we ask them to give us milk and chappati for kids, the chappati was very salty and kids drink cold milk, we asked some appetizers peanut chat which was made of raw peanuts instead of roast once, we did not finished it and other thing we ask for was fish fingers, when we eat it it was cold and not spiced properly, we manage our food from outside. Breakfast - we have opt for continental breakfast and dosas, they served us fruit plate and mix juice, I asked for watermelon juice for my son they refused to make and then they did not ask for what kind of eggs we want untill we ask them to make some omelettes, they have given us dosa instead of pancakes that they usually serve but dosas were thick no crunch, kids did not eat at all, sambhar was passable and chatney was ok. Food can be said mediocre at best. - Shabby rooms, smells, insects every where, spider webs, lizard and many more roaming around, one hornet is created house in chair in the porche. Toilet has very poor light. Staff: I found Mr Natrajan very rude, services is poor, property is not maintained properly. food is not good. No view is good without proper service when you have paid so much money. I have also notice on next night we have seen the manager and other staff till 10 pm in the reception area and attending some foreigners.

View of lake from property is the only thing which was nice, property gardens looks maintained.

We stayed at beginning of the off season with some rain, accommodation felt very damp and we had a lot of mosquitos which without nets on the beds (and no way of securing rooms so that they wouldn't enter due to several openings) caused us a lot of issues and a lack of sleep. Beds were uncomfortable. Appreciate that in better weather the experience may be nicer but for the time at which we visited it felt over priced and unenjoyable

Location is quite far out so needing to spend a far bit of money on transport. The pool is really quite dirty. The rooms could have been cleaner (dusty floors). Food and drink available at the accommodation is quite expensive.

Beautiful setting and comfortable, lavish rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Food was nice and enjoyed the fresh juice at breakfast.

Although the staff were friendly it felt v like we had to ask if we wanted anything food or drink wise. They didn’t offer or really explain how and what to do if we needed water or any extras. We felt welcomed but also at the same time not welcomed with food and drink. We had to ask where the pool was, how to get towels. On one hand said we could have meals but when asked were told no as there wasn’t very enough time. Two managers of which one was never around and he was the warmest one when we saw him so I would need to what’s app him and the other manager acted as if we were a nuisance staying there. To be honest it felt like we were distant friends of the family not really welcomed but were offered the minimum. The charge of the tiny portions of food and drink was very expensive and cost the equivalent of two nights stay.

Great location. It was a family home which they rent out the 4 separate bungalows when the family aren’t staying there. It was quiet and private. Tastefully designed. Luxurious and comfortable.?

The outdoor shower was a novelty to begin with but not for long! The shower tray stands on bare soil, so the paving slabs laid to walk on were dirty, so were the walls of the shower area. The bath towels were tiny and made of thin waffle. The bed sheets didn’t look clean. The bedside tables were grubby, so were the cushions on the window seat and the wicker loungers on the veranda. The veranda table where we ate all our meals was never actually wiped with a cloth, and the fabric napkins weren’t clean either. Such a shame that poor housekeeping is letting the property down

The design of the individual bungalows and the privacy of the layout. The pool was lovely, and of course the view of the lake is fabulous. Anish was great, really helpful and informative

Cleanliness of cottages is very poor. Lots of mosquitoes and insects. Very limited option to do anything on the resort. Property is located quite far from Kumarakom or Alleppy, going anywhere requires advance booking. Food options are limited to what the cook makes At this cost, there are much better options for stay

Property is green, overlooking the lake. Staff is courteous, very helpful and the cook is amazing
