They come wake you up at 7:30am by turning the lights on and sweeping the area around your bed.

The place was dirty, nooks and corners were extremely dirty, cobwebs, ants, little insects. No toiletries, toilet papers, towels kept, until you ask for it again and again. Everything is charged, even the water bottles. The biggest concern/problem was cleanliness and they don't change bedsheets/linens used by previous guests. We changed two rooms, and both rooms had dirty linens. We had to remove pillow covers and turn bedsheets upside down to sleep.

The location was good, since it is on a walking distance from The Golden temple. This may be the only good thing about this place

The host is amazing. Helped me with luggage till my cab. Also, kept my luggage while I was traveling in the town. Good helping people.

One man from the staff is a creep! As I was in shared room, he was coming to look at me and he was too often in the room where I was staying. (Ehm, no doors, thats why anybody could come and go). Shared room and bathroom are used by staff too, so actually you cannot be sure if the bed you got during checking in was clean - my definitely wasnt clean. The pillow sheet was dirty and on bed was a lot of dark hair (definitely not mine-I am blond), and also need to add, that you dont have any blanket, just pillow and AC goes just for a while. Last note for those who are suggesting to go to share room - it is underground. Once in the night I met this creep guy in bathroom, firstly he was touching my hair, and when I was closing the door to the bathroom, he disgustigly bit to his lip. I didnt know what should I do in this kind of situation - I wanted to take a shower, but I could hear him standing behind the doors.. I was scared to go out! Since that moment I didnt feel there okay..

I have experience from Shared room (bunk bed) and double room. In double room, you have nothing to worry about, it is good, kinda comfy and clean. And importantly - you have your own control over AC. And of course you have your privacy and normal clean bathroom. Much of the staff were nice, friendly - especially the female was proffesional, and Sikh guy (dont know how to explain them better, I dont know their names).

Booked 2 double bedrooms but provided some others Noresturant fr food There was a very small strain on the bedsheet , which was already present during checkin but arrogant caretaker lady asked us to pay extra amount for dryclean Even the staff said sir we gt dryclean chemical it will easily be removed Dont stay there book some other there are several hotels near by If u order something like tea coffe from them they will take hell lot of time Dont book Dint book Ver poor behaviour

De staff will give you the feeling that you don't miss anything from home. Manju and Gagandeep are very helpful and for the extra service what they give. Its also referring to the other members. It's above my expectation and you can not express it in amount. The Backpacker nest is a pearl for Amritsar. I recommend everyone this warming loving place when you visit Amritsar 🧡

The way the staff helped us and made us comfortable. Especially the owner, She made sure everything was to our reach and we enjoy the time we stayed there. she made sure about the comfortable travelling too

Facilities not good…No telecom provided. Geyser was not working.No toiletries. No tea or coffee maker.No wardrobe.The actual room was not the same as shown in picture. One of the staff was very rude and misbehaved with us.He even threatened us that he would do our checkout without any refund.

not worth the value , pictures in the site and hotel are contradictory. Not to standards at least for people booking through booking.com
