Value for money hotel in a quiet place. Away from the touristy area but not very remote.

One of the best property for veg food. We had all meals in house no where else. Perfect location to have stroll near by.

The hospitality & the behaviour of the hotel staff. Above all, the owner Ms.Dhanya Nair is excellent. She is very helpful, proactive & supportive. Further there is a pure vegetarian restaurant on the 1st floor of the hotel which prepares delicious food.

The location is good. It's on the Samudra Beach of Kovation which is just 2 min walk. Infant of the hotel there where the Cab & Auto stand is there which is very helpful for local movements.

This hotel is in a lovely spot. The food in the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are very friendly. The lady who owns the place is very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble she is very very kind and considerate.and we can't thank her and the staff enough.

Lift should be an option in future because you gotta keep coming and going if you’re on vacation and you see stairs and get weary

There is nothing which I dislike either in the hotel or in the surroundings. The staff were humble and polite and served us delicious breakfast and dinner.

Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was awesome. This hotel was very close to the beach, less crowded, and had a beautiful view of the mountains and beach. If wish to visit that same place again and stay a few nights in the Samudra Hotel.

The staircase up to the rooms is not the best hygienic experience but once you get to your room it’s clean and has everything you need! 🙏 This has nothing to do about the property but to walk to the main beach (Lighthouse Beach) you have to go through the trees and forest which can feel quite a bit sketchy at night

Two completely different stairs for 2 different type rooms , as I had booked both double room and a family room for ourselves as we were group of 8 family members It was inconvenient while going from one room to another

The access to the family room is via separate staircase and there is no elevator . Hence one has to climb down and up the stairs to go to the restaurant or main hotel /lobby. While I am sure that they would have provided room service for breakfast and lunch or dinner, I would recommend to make suitable arrangements whereby climbing up and down, couple of floors can be avoided, especially for senior citizens The complimentary breakfast served although very tasty and adequate, consisted only of north Indian items. People who are not from South, are interested in having a south Indian or local breakfast and lunch / dinner. Ms Nair not only graciously accepted this feedback but arranged for a South Indian breakfast one day.

Excellent location, walking distance from the beach. Family room was spacious with attached kitchen. The room including the bathroom was maintained neat and clean. Bath towels and bedsheets too were clean and replaced when required. The hotel has an in house vegetarian restaurant which serves good north Indian food. The USP of this hotel is the personal attention given to each and every customer by the owner, Ms Dhanya Nair. She ensured that our request as well as any queries related to the stay and transport to the nearby attractions were attended promptly. The staff too is very friendly and provides assistance whenever required

Loved the restaurant! Delicious food! It was also fun being able to go and use the pool at the sister property a 5 minute drive away. Lovely lovely staff thank you so much! We also loved our samosas for our train ride delicious!
