The hotel is easily accessible. It lies not far away from the I.S.B.T. bus station, but up the road steeply. So you should take a taxi to the hotel. The other way round is easy because always going downhill. I arrived at 6:30 am and the manager was so kind not to charge me for early check-in. All the hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. From the rooms and the dining room you have a breathtaking view of the valley and the mountains. The bed was very comfortable. I really slept wonderful. The bathroom is modern in style and has as much hot water as you want in shower and sink.That was very important for me because the weather was cool and rainy. In the room there is a watercooker and coffee and tea and 2 bottles of water. There is a breakfast buffet with Indian food, but also cornflakes and yoghurt. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can also be ordered a la carte. The ropeway to McLeod Ganj is within walking distance from the hotel. From McLeod Ganj you can also walk back to the hotel down the street instead of taking the ropeway. That's about 2.5 km, and a nice walk. I chose not to stay in McLeod Ganj as it is colder up there and also extremely crowded with people and cars. The traffic there is incredible. It's much more relaxed staying down in Dharamsala. For me the stay was very pleasant and comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel.

La Riqueza hotel staff is very cordial, helpful and pro-active, even after falling sick before I reached Dharamshala, my holiday wasn't spoilt. The hotel has a perfect location and all the facilites required for a comfortable stay. Ravi and Avnish managed my medicines at odd hours, gave inputs for sightseeing, arranged the Triund trek, taxis, special food and snacks for me, room decoration and special birthday cake and everything that was required as quickly as could be done. Absolutely delighted to stay at La Riqueza 😊 👍👍

I couldn't be happier with our stay, Avinesh was an amazing host and all the staff looked after us with unmatched attentiveness. The view from our room was amazing and location of the hotel was fantastic. The dining was the best we had in dharamshala. What a wonderful experience.

Very conveniently situated to Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, this hotel has beautiful views of the mountain. I ate at the hotel every night and the quality of the food was excellent. I was particularly impressed with the staff at reception (Ravi & Avinesh) who went out of their way to arrange sightseeing tours and managed to source an international plug for me after I had misplaced mine. The bed was comfortable and there was hot water!

The staff was absolutely super helpful with us: they also let us choose our room in a range of 3 possibilities. Very clean, comfortable and functional room. I particularly loved the comfort of bed and the possibility to have breakfast in room. Also very tasty breakfast. Good position in Dharamshala on the way to Mcleod Ganj. Super approved.

Did not like - a) Food quality (Milk was half filled with water despite being charged at 60 per 300ml) b) Very limited food options in the breakfast (only two items in Breakfast) c) Very delayed service (Requested in the morning and received in the evening) d) Only two half litter water bottle for a king size room with two adults staying full day. e) Water Kettle was dirty and of very cheap quality. Did not work with multiple tries. Had to replace and the replaced one even turned off after couple of usage. f) Food was not well served (Milk served for kids was even not stained properly) g) Toiletries was of low quality h) Countless.. All of this you wont expect when u are paying INR 3200 for one night charge.

I like the property as its was quite new in terms of interior and furnishing. Rest ( pls see below)

No issues with the property. Very satisfied and good value for money.

Very enjoyable stay. Good location in which to explore Dharamshala. I enjoyed the walk up to Macloganj from the hotel. Taxi’s available for the less able or a cable car up to the top from Dharamshala. Good standard of breakfast and good options for evening meals, if you don’t wish to go into the town in the evening. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. The hotel was very clean. I was luckily enough to be upgraded on arrival, which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and it was great to have a balcony, offering greats views of the surrounding area. I would highly advise booking a room with a balcony due to the amazing views. It was nice to be on the edge of Dharamshala away from the noise but still walkable to the centre. All in all, a very good stay and extremely good value for money. Big thank you to Avinesh for making my stay pleasant and for helping me with onward journey.
